Might have been Chelsea winning 30 out of 38 games as well like, that's some target to try and beat. Well yeah, obviously. That's the reason Chelsea finished with more points, though. My boss is a Spurs fan (well when they win), and he can't work out how a team can bottle it when they're 7/10 points behind, surely it was Chelsea who would have been the ones to bottle it. Chelsea simply didn't and Spurs gave it a good go, to get as close as they did was a decent enough try.

It's outrageous that this kid wants to make sure he's making the best decision for his career. Mug him off, the dithering tit.

Played for France in the 90's, looked like a predator.

Seeing as it's us, we're bound to get a raving fucking nutcase as the new owner.

could explain charnley fucking around with transfers. I doubt it as i think we're unduly worring about transfers as it's only June 12th, but it's possibility i guess.

SSN news right now, takeover talk, Chinese money possibly. A lot of other interest as well and Ashley is considering his options.

You know it could be that Rafa just likes Gouff. He knows what he's going to get from him, someone willing to play wherever Rafa wants him too. Someone who doesn't complain if he's on the bench for extended periods. He's the perfect squad player, a lack of quality but he does a job (i think he should go) but Rafa trusts him, and trusting in a player, is something Rafa seems to value above nearly all else when picking a team.

What a goal that was for Sweden, half way line

You think ? Last night's result will only compound his anger. This might tip him over the edge. That's quite and understatement.

What a fantastic bloke

I do, might just be me but i really think there's a decent hold the ball up striker in him, not a goal scorer but most definitely someone like Gayle could play off. That's why I think he should go, at least on loan with a view to selling next year if Rafa's still here. Rafa will never play two strikers, and Gayle is the definition of the type Rafa plays up front by himself. He's the total opposite to Mitrovic. Aye, two up isn't going to happen so you're right, a loan or permanent move might be best for Mitro himself.

Because July 1st in when the window officially opens for you to able to register players. I think. You can still sign off and finalise a deal before then though, he just wouldn't become a Newcastle player until July 1. We've already announced Atsu before July 1 so no reason we couldn't announce this soon as it's done and dusted, the article will just say "Lejuene will become a Newcastle player on July 1". EDIT: We announced Cabaye on the 11th of June 2011, For example. I know you can but players etc but it's Ryder, who knows what the rabbit working the controls in his head is doing. Why not say what you said (highlighted), nope lets just confuse it because i'm Ryder

This is by no means a criticism of Rafas coaching ability, but this constant claim that coaches can do this and that with players, make them better, make them stop making mistakes, make them concentrate, is by no means certain and frequently is obviously not the case. Titus was a supremely talented CB, physically imposing, good with both feet, but he constantly had a mistake in him and constantly lost concentration despite some excellent managers trying to improve him. Closer to home and more recently Lascelles has definitely not improved the weaknesses in his game nor has Dummett and I'm sure Rafa and everyone at NUFC have been trying to make them better players. Agree with that like. I think with Rafa he can make the player better as part of the team as a whole rather than individuals better as individuals, if you follow me. Rafa is about the team not the player. I didn't mean it like that even though it might have sounded like it. Of course it's not guaranteed that Rafa will sort out every weakness of a player. What I was implying (in a not so good way) was that at least they will have every possibility to improve as a player if the willingness to learn is there. With Rafa the player(s) will get all the tools and professional guidance to improve individually and how to work together when it comes to the shape of the them and how to work as a unit and when to do what and so on. With Rafa we'll at least now that the top quality as a manager is there, as well as how to handle players and keep them on their toes and be professional, as nothing less is acceptable. I knew how you meant it mate It's not something that can be just black or white, and I've always thought the mental side of the game is the hardest for a manager to sort out. Concentration for player can be the biggest thing for a player to master imo, especially defenders and GK's, narrowly followed by confidence. Obviously player can't all be as good as say Juventus defensively as their concentration during games is amazing, and where other defenders should look at right now to learn. Also players can have better concentration because of a certain GK behind them, or a certain CB next to them. A certain full back alongside them also, midfielders in front of them. This is where the manager comes in with his team selections and instructions knowing how to nuture potential from players, and knowing what's good for them. Rafa doing that compared to Pardew, well chalk and cheese

We probably wouldn't have signed those players mind if Rafa was the manager, Rafa would have aimed higher but your point is fairly spot on.
