  1. I'd still say he's offered much more than Gouffran, but we do need a wide player which should have been bought in January just like Rafa wanted and asked for.
  2. Yeah that would work, interchange and swap when they see fit.
  3. Aye and Atsu and Sammy being the options, Atsu offers more going forward and still works back. Still can't work out why Gouffran starts ahead of him. I mean it's not like Gouffran offer that much more defensively is it.
  4. Of which he bought a fair chunk. He only bought 3 of the players that started today. And...so Lazaar, Atsu, Murphy, Sels, Gamez who were fit enough to play arent picked to start. How is that not Rafa fault if he doesn't think they're good enough to start. He bought them, he shouldn't immune to stick if it's obvious he's bought some duffers, You can't defend him for using players like Dummett, Colback, Anita, Gouffran etc, if the players he bought aren't better than them. Would you have started Murphy ahead of Gayle like? Alongside him maybe, but that's been done to death and Rafa will never play two up so its a moot point. But say today, why not play Murphy up the top, and drop Gayle in behind him not as a number 10 but as a second striker. Basically 4-4-2 so again moot point.
  5. It's quite obvious he offers more defensively, hence why he starts so often. I just wish we didn't think our LB needed babysitting.
  6. He's playing percentage football to mitigate the potential for errors. That's why Mbemba's not been anywhere near all season. He's a f***ing braindead. Given what's he's achieved this season, with largely a bag of s****, he's bulletproof in my mind. He's done well, but I wouldn't say bulletproof. Nobody else would've achieved promotion with this rabble imho. Very true. f***ing rubbish. Here he is
  7. That's also a load of bollocks. In terms of style of football it isn't, we're boring and f***ing awful to watch but managed to win games by scoring quite a few. Baffling to be honest how we managed it with the way we set up. Love to know how you could possibly know. How much of the recent promoted teams have you watched? All played scintillating football, did they? Lots, and we are f***ing awful to watch. How can you even defend it, you're eyes don't lie do they. Sure you did. All those championship games over the last 10 years of each of the promoted teams that you've watched.. I watched tons, i actually did and do. It's all i really do, watch football. Any country anything that's on, football is always on no matter what. And none of that changes the fact we are f***ing terrible to watch. Face the truth, we are f***ing awful to watch. Attack me if you like, might want to turn that on the manager, players and coaching staff after watching that shower of utter s*** we just put up with. There haven't even been enough games on TV in recent years of the promoted teams for you to make a reasonable assessment. Looking at the goals we have scored this season and comparing it to past seasons, I struggle to believe we have been one of worst teams in recent years.. You need to separate awful teams from awful play. We aren't an awful team per se, we do though play awful football a lot of the time (especially since x-mas time, when the club screwed him over not buying, maybe the two are connected to be fair) That's my point about it, despite the goals scored.

Sels and Lazaar are the only players who haven't contributed in some way like. Rafa has spoken about players being where they should be and knowing their role. AFAIC none of the players bar Sels and Atsu were brought here to start. Beyong that, by all accounts he wanted to strengthen in January and will strengthen in the summer. We're also 10 points clear of the play off places with 5 games to go, so there's that to consider. Today we had a team selection dictated by injuries as well. That's the brilliant part of him, but he probably wouldn't have needed to be so brilliant if bought a little better. January and a manager not always buying right don'y help. Despite going on about it the buys that isn't the thing that gets me most. It's the football, i hate to watch two holding players, we're dreadful to watch at times (not all the time but the arse of this season we have been) But if the end is justified by the means and we go up (which we will) then ok. It's just not that enjoyable to watch.
  10. Very fair point. Not a manager in history has ever got it right 100%.

He wanted players to replace Alsoran and Colback in January, to be fair. Not his fault they failed him. That is very true, they treated him abysmal with that.
  12. This is it. Dummett is a perfect example of someone who completely hinders our play. We're really missing Yedlin imho. Yet Rafa bought a LB and refuses to play him, who's at fault for that ? Admittedly the player might not have shown enough but Rafa picked him out to buy. You can't legislate for every buy nor every player being suitable for English football tbqh. If Rafa is the problem then he's a great problem to have tbqh. Rafa's not a problem, he'll get it right of that i've no doubt (if the club give him the funds he needs). My point is, he keeps getting defended by the poorness of the players, yet he bought a fair chunk and now doesn't use those. He shouldn't be immine from stick in that regard.

Admittedly the player might not have shown enough but Rafa picked him out to buy. We didn't buy a LB, to be fair. Not by any reasonable definition. So it seems but who's fault would that be, granted managers can make mistakes in buys but Rafa shouldn't be defended for using poor players if the ones he bought are even poorer.

  16. That's also a load of bollocks. I don't see how. We hardly have a player fit to play in the premier league. Burnley, Bournemouth, Leicester, Hull and Boro have gone up with much better squads recently than what we currently have. Excellent way of explaining it. I have faith in Rafa in replacing the shit but no faith in Ashley letting him. Just about right, give him enough money but i just can't see it happening.

  21. Get an attacker on Rafa we are losing ffs. 2-0 down and still one striker and two holding players.
