  1. Perfect response to their "better the devil you know" pish. Well besides "fuck off". Jeff Stelling gave it the "better the devil you know" pish on Soccer Saturday about us having new owners if it happens. Ashley hasn't done that bad as we have Rafa, and are in the top ten he spewed. Thought better of him, not now the Hartlepool supporting moron. Edit : sorry just noticed Wullie mentioned it a couple of pages back.
  2. Thought he was superb today, really good player who keeps improving.
  3. Gameweek 9 West Ham 2-1 Brighton Chelsea 3-1 Watford Huddersfield 0-3 Man Utd Man City 4-0 Burnley Newcastle 2-1 Crystal Palace Stoke 2-1 Bournemouth Swansea 1-1 Leicester Southampton 1-0 West Brom Everton 1-1 Arsenal Tottenham 3-1 Liverpool
  4. Going to give in to hope completely and say it may be either the Watford game or the Leicester game. Hoping it's the latter if Pardew takes over there. I'd rather not have that rubber lipped spunkrocket anywhere near the place to be honest.
  5. Funny how he didn't check what Ashely's intent was.
  6. Can you imagine the first home game after Ashley sells (if he does)
  7. My tea hopefully, i'm starving.
  8. I couldn't give too shits about her political leanings, if she buys us and runs us some ambition and dignity that's been so absent under the current gremlin, then I'd sniff her Boris bike seat.
  9. Not the only thing that'll be getting pulled off.
  10. My hope went up, now reality sets in....
  11. Bloke (some "expert") on totalsport saying its a game changer cause it means the buyer will be able to invest in the squad while still buying the club Tend to agree with Odin. None of the buyers of Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal's investors, Everton's new guy nor Bournemouths new guy have needed to stage payments to be able to invest in the playing squad. Strikes me that no 'big' players are sniffing if he's got to incentivise potential buyers with staged payments so publically. Or his asking price is too high it's scaring them off, same thing i suppose in the end. Yeah true - whether you pay £20 for a Mars Bar today or you pay £0.50p today and then pay off the remaining £19.50 over the next 6 months, you've still overpaid. Aye, not exactly a selling point is it, staged payments to still vastly over pay.

  13. Aye but that was a reaction to him getting stick from us, and rightly so he deserved all he got. This is a bit different imo, well i'm telling myself that.
  14. Reckons Rafa will still get money if we don't sell by Christmas for transfers in January, yeah ok Mike we believe you.
  15. Aye, does feel different this time though, well maybe that's just me.
  16. What the.....still keeping a finger in the pie then.
