I'd say Dele Alli is about the only box to box player (goes beyond the strikers i mean) i see now in the top clubs bar Leicester. Leicester's Drinkwater and Kante do both but don't really break past their strikers, but both do the defending and attacking side of CM play.

Shauna Lowry made my balls tingle.
  3. Absolutely spot on, they'll never give up the money. I suppose the FA could give the clubs more money for each round. And make entry free, i'm sure it costs non league clubs money to enter, and they had to have played the FA Vase or FA trophy in the previous season to do so. Would mean the FA getting money from the Premiership to bump up the lower rounds prize money, not a chance that'll happen.

I really hate this 4-2-3-1, two DM's for defensive safety. It's boring as feck, and when we do it we concede goals like we have only 4 players on the the pitch. We're really shit at this football lark

Nobby Solano goal v Everton ? what a wonderful outside of the foot effort that was Aye he did that from the right side though, the mad cunt. I'm talking about dinking it past the keeper from the left cutting inside, you can smash it in the corner quite easily that way too. That's a very good point, you just don't see professionals trying it, from either wing. Seems to be out of the game altogether now.

  7. True, benefit the elite at the expense of the rest because they cry not enough players (i don't think that's true imo), because they're asked to play extra fixtures in a cup they don't enter until the 3rd round. If the FA cave in, they might as well just let the Premiership decide when and where the FA cup fits in with their schedule, if at all.

Ah yes, the triangle of DM to CB back to DM then to other CB, back to DM, rinse and repeat. When all the while the DM could have turned and carried the ball 20 yards forward. Gotta keep the possession stats up though.

Well that's the same for any kind of child abuse, rape and even some one on one violent attacks. Goes to court and jury decide on the evidence presented who's telling the truth. Most crimes like these don't really have witnesses do they.
  12. Just another step on the march to the death of competitive football. Just like the ridiculous idea of automatic entry to the vile Champions League for the 'top' clubs. I wish they would just hurry up and form there fucking European super league and get it done with. Let the Sooper clubs all fuck off and then football can maybe start to reclaim itself from the globalised multi nationals and the super rich cunts who are ripping it's arse and heart out. Aye the big clubs are just shitting all over and couldn't care less what happens to the smaller ones, it stinks and shows just how arrogant they've become.
  13. Yeah lets scrap replays that can keep lower teams in business for years (Exeter) just so the big 6 or 7 clubs don't have an extra fixture. clubs which are getting an astronomical amount of money already and even more from next season. IF this the happens the FA are gutless and those clubs are just selfish utter cunts, fuck them all the wankers.

Lee Clarke likes this but only when they loose. Chris Houghton thinks they shouldn't of lost. Collocini says hi.
  16. Is that 12 players there ?...crafty. Oh shit. Forgot to drop Sissoko
  17. Like Van Gaal and the massive money spent on his squad ? Arsenal have a way better team though True, so do Chelsea but look where they are. McClaren is worse than most if not all managers in the Premiership. He'd have Arsenal out of the top 4, no doubt about it for me.

  20. I should have been clearer Hans my bad, it's a team thing really i'm getting at. In general we have far too many lazy/poor short passes or flicks. He was responsible for one that nearly cost a goall, I was just pointing that out as part of an overall thing. It's something that drives me nuts, i'd say Sissoko is the worst, some of his 5 to 10 yards passes inside as he goes forward......
  21. And Leicester have been told by the ref that he saw the challenge and didn't think it was worthy of a yellow. Means nothing can now be done by the FA. Also you'll be unsurprised to learn it's the same ref for when HBA had his leg broke. Thought they changed that rule? Not according to Dermot Gallacher on Sky Sports News earlier, he reckoned that was it. If true that's still a ridculous thing.
  22. I would say most of his passes were ineffectual in the Chelsea game, i don't blame him for that though it was the way the team was set up. But the one where he gave it away just in front of our back 4 was utterly rancid. If Aarons is going get stick for that kind of thing then so should Shelvey. It's a thing we've had for a while now, real lazy passing, Sissoko another who excels at it. Lazy passing, lazy flicks, it runs through the whole side. You can have 99% accuracy but if you give a pass up to concede, well not good is it. Like i say i think he'll be mint, but he's not being helped by the way we're playing away. Also teams aren't going to sit there like W.B.A and West Ham did and let him dicate play with acres of space as we've seen away from home. And that's where McClaren and his limitations come in and kills us. The manager has no idea what to do.

    Steve McClaren

It's what we do now, wait and wait. It's as if watching Carver nearly take us down wasn't warning enough. They seem unable to accept their mistakes, rather than swallow their pride and change the manager they appointed. They'd rather keep going hoping it'll work out. Ridiculous but it's happening before our eyes.

  25. Except that 5 yard pass he just plopped up for them that they nearly scored from, he was just poor as everyone else in a poor team performance. I do like him though, at the moment he's just part of our general crapness away from home.
