I'd question anyone that paid over 12-15m tops for him with the way his body is constantly breaking down on him. Hope we stay away from that supposed deal.
-
Really hoping that we dont go out and buy a striker to replace him in the summer if we do stay up. Hes pivotal to our team at the minute and I think he will only get better.

Incredible the amount of stick he gets considering he is by far our most creative player. Hopefully the signings of Townsend and Shelvey will help free up more space for him as well.
-
Him and Shelvey are our best CM partnership by far.

With which personnel in which positions? Well it was that exact team on Wednesday night with exception of Perez over Mitro and obviously the defensive side. If we play that then I hope you're right but WBA sit back a lot deeper then WHU did so I'm not expecting the space to be available for players to make runs in order for Shelvey to hopefully ping 50 yard balls into them. -

We've played 4-2-3-1 for 95% of the season. -

And your 7 defensive player formation does that. Rightio Al. 7 defensive players? Not a clue have you? I'd love to know what master team and formation you've got in mind for today? I thought we might try playing players in their actual positions for a start. Blob Janmaat Taylor Colo Gibson Shelvey Saivet Sissoko Wijnaldum Townsend Mitrovic f***ing rocket science here boys. Because its worked ever so well for the majority of the season.... -

If a gimped 3 at the back is the best we can do we deserve relegation Townsend at right wing back is the worst part of that abortion of a formation. Well since he's naturally a right winger, giving him the chance to attack on his natural side would make sense, would it not? We're playing WBA, not Arsenal or Man City. Our first priority should be attacking the game before anything else. -

Gazette seems to be hinting on that Aarons may play LB again. Dear me. -

From the presser, sounds like Doumbia will be on the bench at best again. Anything but a win and we're in serious trouble. -
Taylor to do a job tomorrow and against Chelsea and then we've got a 18 day break before our next game. Fingers crossed the timing of this injury means Mbemba will only miss 3 or 4 games very maximum. Not great but could of been a lot worse.

Excited for the kid. Maybe he's s*** hot and that's why there was no purchase. If that were the case then they wouldn't of approached 2 LB's from Spain and Enrique. [emoji38]He's 18, tbf. Weren't those loans? Makes it seem like we've got someone capable of playing there full time in house already. If Mbabu can get healthy we probably don't need a LB. Looks like we've got Willems lined up to join in the summer if we stay up. That's the reasoning for why we were only looking for loan deals apparently. Id rather see Gibson or even Colback start at LB over Aarons though. -

Won't be long before they're booing him if Thauvins anything to go by.

Is this a Premier League record or just his? Believe its a record of managing to lead more then one team to 5 consecutive pl losses in a row.
-
He was allowed to spend a shitload of money and failed to produce a team which got into the CL. He did get them into the CL. With his signings or an inherited squad? As others have said, why does that matter? He had players bought for him at Liverpool, just like he would here. He managed to get them to the brink of winning the league and although I do have my doubts about him, and accept we would be a million miles away from that, I would have more confidence in him keeping us up compared to SMc.
