Cant say the thought of Rogers taking over fills me with confidence. He's a better manager then SMc but many are and I just cant see Rodgers having the bottle to stand up to players or risk upsetting them, even if it was for the benefit of the team. Seems obvious to me that the players control the dressing room still.

Hit the woodwork 3 times, not to mention Kone missing 2 sitters and Elliott making numerous saves. This bloke needs replaced ASAP, although I think its already too late.

Or maybe because the other one never scores I hope you're not indicating that Perez was chosen because he's a goalscorer. Neither of them will get 10 goals and that, along with being unable to keep clean sheets is why we will go down. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Something had to change, it didn't work, we would have lost anyway Its not the same thing though when we were giving our new winger, who was apparently brought in to supply our 6ft4 striker with crosses, his debut and we ultimately drop the striker from the gameplan. Not to mention that Perez isn't a striker. Townsend has always been a cut in and shoot type player rather than a get down the line and cross hasn't he though? He has been when he's played RM but thats why we've apparently put him on the left, so he can get crosses in for Mitro. Mind you, it is the local media who reported that.

Far better then Shelvey was last night.

Remember how he blamed Armstrong, when we got beat by Manchester United ? No it was Abeid who he blamed for passing the ball to Krul in the area, who then miskicked it straight to Rooney who scored the only goal in the 93rd minute. Can't go blaming an international goalkeeper who is your number one choice. Lets blame the youngster who had a cracking game in midfield against some top players, but who then made the mistake of thinking he could rely on our goalkeeper to clear our lines. Carver was in charge when Abeid made that mistake, it was at the end of December when Armstrong started away to Man-U when Pardew was in charge Was also Ashley Young who scored.

Any news on Colback? Not that I'd want him anywhere near my team but he seems the only option to step in at LB. -

Didn't look interested at all tonight and hasn't for the last 3 games. Strop over not getting a move, no doubt.

Sign a winger (Thauvin) who was brought in to deliver crosses for Mitro, yet play him on the left rather then the right, where he's played most of his career and then immediatley drop him, or Mitro, or both and question why it didn't work out. Sign a winger (Townsend) who was brought in to deliver crosses for Mitro, yet play him on the left rather then the right, where he's played most of his career and then immediatley drop Mitro.... Unbelievable.

Actually incredible how much SM got wrong from the very start to the very end. How anyone thinks we will survive with him in charge is beyond me. -
Don't get how people are saying that Sunderland are gone already. They're only 2 points behind us and have been in this position for years now before they drag themselves out of it with a week to go. We're relying on them finally falling apart this time around, as well as hoping we pick up enough points to overtake Norwich. Everyone else above them will be fine.

Tiote and Shelvey should easily be the midfield 2.

Anyone able to create a missing poster for Ian Wright? He's went awfully quiet since his boy Pards has reverted back to his normal self.

My exact thoughts.

That ronny article is absolutely terrifying.

5/10 for me. 2 problem positions of defence and striker haven't been taken care of and we're relying on a 60 year old who hasn't played for 6 weeks to score the goals to keep us up. In massive danger of going down in my opinion.

Seems nailed on this. But obviously 3-0 as I stated earlier on in the thread. -
