  1. Its picking the best out of the worst situation when it comes to alternatives if we cant get Remy. If we dont get Remy then i'll have little faith in us staying up in all fairness. but i mean where would you use him, as backup for mitro or as a pacey forward to play alongside? if it's the latter i can't see how that works with our other signings, if it's the former then perez already has a better pedigree we're veering into "just sign anyone" territory here imo To be honest im intrigued to see what McClaren does with the new players. I think its obvious from Townsends comments that Perez is going to be dropped and AT will be played LW but i'd like to see him played RW with Perez LW and Sissoko moved to a more central position. I know many will bring up that he's not always been convincing at CM but I dont see how he can be any worse then Colback. If we were to play the formation and players in the positions I said, then I could see Gayle as a decent option compared to Gomis, who appears to be higher up on our shopping list, due to Gayles pace and movement off the ball.

  3. Depends what way we're looking at it. I think he would certainly take the chances if we created them but i'm not sure his work rate or attitude is what we need right now. Tough decision out of the 3.

    Loïc Remy

Unsurprising really. Makes sense. Leicester looking elsewhere also apparently. Leicester City have now made a €16m bid for AC Milan's French striker Mbaye Niang, Milan are considering it, according to @DiMarzio. Seen they were linked with Pelle for £5m. I'd have him here in a heartbeat for that price.
  5. I'd have Gayle at least 3rd possibly 2nd. Over who? To be honest, I'm not getting all the fuss over Berahino. Not a lot to chose from out of him, Rhodes and Gayle for me but think Berahino is probably the most likely to score the goals to keep us up.

    Loïc Remy

Seen numerous rumours saying Chelsea are trying to cancel Falcao's loan, rather then having to loan Remy out as they want to keep him.
  7. Remy Berahino Rhodes Gayle Gomis If I had to chose any from the supposed targets then that would my preference in order from top to bottom
  8. Betting suspended on Matt Phillips joining us but im sure itll prove to be nowt.
  9. Neither had Collo over the last 18month but he still got one. Aarons has looked promising and talented in most of the appearances he has made for us. Im not saying we should hoy big money at him as he's done nothing to earn it but I definitely feel we would live to regret letting him go if we do.
  10. Would be idiotic to not give him a new contract. He needs to prove he can stay fit but he has a heap of talent. Could be massive for us in the future.
  11. Pretty sure that NUFC have agreed to loan Thauvin but have denied the right to buy option as part of the deal which means he'll more then likely be back here in 6 month.
  12. Apart from against Northampton when he burried it like a english Robert Huth.
  13. Least City winning means we wont be playing them at 12pm on a Sunday now.
  14. Wouldn't of been my number one option but more then willing to give him a chance. Like Shelvey, he knows that if he performs then he has a realistic chance of making the Euros squad which can only be a good thing for us.
  15. 31 year old Sol Bamba of Leeds United linked with us now. Jesus wept.
  16. Still recall bursting with pride for him as he made that tackle v Villa at home when it was 3 on 2 in their favour. Not sure he even meant to make the interception though. Could quite easily understand if he came out tomorrow and said he tripped over his own feet and the ball just hit him.
  17. would suggest players like taylor, marveuex etc. will feature heavily. I see that but it still makes you question the thinking behind it all. I get that it gives fringe players a chance to play but with our injury record, its still taking a massive gamble on some of those named.
  18. Absolutely mental that both clubs have agreed to this. Got disaster written all over it in my eyes.
  19. Im all for him joining but I do fear that if he does join, we'll no longer be after a striker. I can't see Mitro being dropped so unless Sissoko is moved central then I can't see how it will work.
  20. Odds on Townsend joining have dropped massively again
  21. Problems start from the very top but Stevey Mc is certainly proving that hes way out of his depth though.
  22. Aarons would be my preferred choice but think its a cert he will go for the safe option of sticking Lascelles there.
  23. Gomis is what puts you over the edge? really? Perhaps not, but still. He's dreadful.
