Decent manager takes us from 100% certain to 50/50 I reckon, still has the same s**** to work with and not much time. It's sensible to have someone already lined up before sacking. No need to be in a hurry now and then panic for the next 2-3 weeks to appoint someone. They should of got rid of him during the 18 day break and that would of been sufficient time to at least appoint someone and give them a week or so getting to know the team, etc before Bournemouth. Even after saturday, I would hope that they've already sounded out the likes of Moyes, Rodgers, etc to see who, if any, were interested in the job if they are planning on sacking him.

Stan Collymore was on TalkSport last night saying that the likes of Shearer, Carragher, etc are cheating young fans by saying it was a penalty on Sunday and daring them to ring up and try to argue with him. Made me enjoy the decision even more when you know its got female beating c***s like him so wound up.

Can't see them sacking him and then leaving them 2 in charge. That would be a carbon copy of last season when Pardew left but we let his coaching team takeover and look how that went. If, and its a big if, he is sacked tomorrow, I would hope a new manager to be appointed by the weekend.

Not to mention that Valencia is a far more attractive project then us. Id also say that now he's experienced what management is truly about, he would have no interest in joining this joke of a club with the constraints he'd be under.
