Pope has saved 5 penalties out of 10 for us, including the pens in the shootout against Palace in the League Cup last season. (3 v Palace, 1 v Brentford, 1 v Leeds) Mitrovic had one disallowed for Fulham for double kicking the ball but I think Pope would've saved that one as well had he not double kicked it. Given saved 6 penalties for us out of 48 faced.

Best team from what I've seen after my first game, in January 2006. Pope Trippier Schar Coloccini Enrique Bruno Cabaye Tiote HBA Wilson Isak Not a fan of putting Isak LW but struggling to think of a LW outside of ASM, and keeping Isak or Wilson out in favour of ASM is too harsh on both imo. Botman will eventually surpass Schar in this team in the next few years providing he continues to improve, but Schar has been by far our best CB over the last 2 years. Was brilliant in that 3-4-3 we played in Benitez's last few months here as well. Probably the best value for money signing we've made in recent memory.

Yellow and green kit is very nice, home kit is absolutely lifting. Should be the current crest on all kits though.

Get your yachts on Bramley Moore Dock now, lads.

Sometimes, but am standing over the bog for a good few minutes immediately after waking up in the morning more often than not.

Hangxiety is the bit about drinking sessions I hate the most. Necking a couple pints of water before bed eases the headache but the anxiety when you can't remember anything is hideous. Immediately fly through my bank account and messages to see if I can get an inkling to what the hell happened and if I admitted something too far or upset anyone.

On the commentary discussion, always feel obliged to bang the Daniel Mann drum. Think he's class personally, massively underrated and gets nowhere near as many games as he should. Did loads of our games in the Championship under Benitez and the opening match this season against Villa.
-
Think we tried for him on loan in January 2022 iirc.
-
Tyler was class up to about 2016. Drury I've always found odious, can't stand him. Constantly trying to sound like he's reciting a Shakespearean sonnet, like get a grip ya spenk.

They've absolutely fucked ticketing, haven't they. People genuinely need sacking.
-
It was going to be a big ask regardless, up until the New Years Day we're more or less playing 3 games a week. Saturday: Chelsea Tuesday: PSG Saturday: Man Utd Thursday: Everton Sunday: Spurs Wednesday: Milan Saturday: Fulham Tuesday: Chelsea Saturday: Luton Tuesday: Forest Monday: Liverpool Saturday: FA Cup

Bruno as well tbf.
-
Fully agree.
-
Not one PL side has 3 recognised first team quality strikers.
-
We haven't looked close to winning a game without Bruno, this season or last. Against some dross sides as well.
-
I know what you mean. Obviously you can't predict injuries or gambling addictions but the summer was not good at all. We seriously lack depth at CB and across the front and we're having a 33 year old Trippier play 3 games a week whilst we have a more than competent deputy for him.
-
He had/has no options so critique of the team selection in hilarious. But I'm unsure why he persevered with Joelinton as the 9 for so long. The bloke cannot play there and proved thst when Bruce was playing him there for 2 years. (he was terrible regardless of position, like)

What is our fans' obsession with getting their flabby kite out? Genuine question. Put it away, you mess.
-
If Bournemouth could finish this could be 7-0. Lifting performance, injuries or not.
-
Trippier and Schar going towards the ball there. Lifting defending.
-
Didn't really enjoy that.
-
Joelinton as the striker just doesn't work. Didn't work for the years we tried it under Stephen Roger either.
