Tuesday or Wednesday more than likely. Hope its the Wednesday, will be nowt better than spending me birthday watching Alex Isak bag a brace to fire us into the quarters.
-
Charlton, Gillingham, MK Dons or Lincoln at home please. Next round is likely going to be played on my birthday as well.

Gillingham, MK Dons, Lincoln, or Charlton at home please. Especially as the next round is likely on me birthday.

Got a ticket for it as well after fretting for a while, urrrffff.

Through at home on pens, which we never do. Quite a few PL sides out already as well. Happy days. Shite, turgid game of football like but it was our second string. Onto Chelsea.

On both; Pardew left late December and Charnley was inherently set on getting McClaren, despite the likes of Thomas Tuchel stating he would've been very interested in the job. McClaren turned us down, so Charnley appointed Carver until the end of the season to wait for McClaren to become available. Carver was incompetent to the point of overseeing a record breaking 8 consecutive PL defeats which saw us drop from being 1 win away from safety in February to having to win on the last day of the season to confirm survival. McClaren then took over after that despite his Derby side imploding in the league below and took us down anyway. On 2013-14, we stuffed Stoke 5-1 on Boxing Day and after were 6 points off top. We sold Cabaye in January without replacing him despite the club knowing all season that he was going and we imploded, broke many unwanted records for consecutive defeats, games without scoring, 0-3 and 0-4 defeats regularly at home. An absolutely awful time to be a Newcastle fan, that second half of 2013-14.

I'd also recommend this site. http://nufc-history.co.uk/index.htm Get a lot of my past highlights for match threads from the YouTube channel.

15th January onwards after Watford scored their late equaliser at SJP is a good read.
-
Gallowgate End on here? That was/is Burnsie.
-
Gillingham were 16/1 in 90 minutes. Dunno about to progress.
-
4-1 Bournemouth, bloody hell
-
Hope Stevenage win tonight, we win tomorrow and we draw them at home in the next round. Seeing the absolute unit that is Steve Evans on the SJP touchline would be a sight to behold.
-
Aye he's finished.
-
Robson was only given the first 4 games so watched the highlights of them back. Given on a few of the goals

2004 was a big crossroads for us that we hugely fucked up at. Though Chelsea had seen Abramovich come in and change the landscape, we oft were competing with them in the table from 01-04. They got rid of Ranieri that summer and appointed Mourinho. Likewise with Liverpool, they got rid of Houllier and appointed Benitez. Man Utd and Arsenal held the other 2 top four spots. I may be wrong but surely we had to change managers in that summer to a similar type of appointment or stick with SBR for the whole 04-05 season? Getting rid after 4 games, one of which we should've won against Spurs and another where we were robbed against Middlesbrough due to a handball, and ending up with Souness just makes it seem like an absolute mess.

He blows hot and cold for me. Good stuff he's done like some of the old NUFC rants were good (a lot for the comedy value and Pardew/Ashley hatred), the Logan Paul body incident, some of the podcasts, his views on Bruce, the video he did after Bruce was sacked, the video after the takeover and the recent Fury stuff. But recently I've gone right off him, this recent fallout, some of the things he's said in the past about women, some of his football takes, having Jordan Peterson on the podcast etc. I've had quite a bit of time for him because of the aforementioned good stuff he's done and I always love seeing someone from up here do well for themselves, see also YouTubers WillNE and Cam Kirkham as well as the likes of Sam Fender and Andrew Cushin. But this recent stuff, nah.

Gone off TG, come out with some beyond dreadful patter recently. Deservedly getting stick for it. Don't like Tate either. Ughs all round. Not been arsed about the WC but just had a flick through that thread. Christ.

Talks about us from 16:55 onwards.

Checked it again, it's not, it's PL games only. We finished with 77 points in 1993-94 which was a 42 game season, we took 3 points from the final 2 games so just take that 3 off: 74.
