Probably what I'd go for as well. Really nice for us having the selection headache. Will have an even bigger one for Wolves.

This fixture is the one we've got the most away wins from in the PL. Bit of a mad stat considering, like.

We have a okayish run of games coming up this month and next. On TV a lot too. Hopefully about 9 or 10 points. Spurs (a) (Sky) Wolves (a) (Sky) Huddersfield (h) Burnley (h) (BT) West Ham (a) (Sky) Everton (h) Bournemouth (a)

Would say hopefully Muto gets back asap but starting him up front would make us have to change the way we play completely. Final is on Friday so he’ll be back game after Spurs but aye. Guess Perez could toil up there but it’d be a huge change. Yeah, especially against the bigger sides. Thankfully after Spurs we don't play any of them until Arsenal (a) in April. Against the smaller sides though, I hope he can do a similar job to what Gayle did at the back end of last season, should him starting come to pass.

Only just now?

Now that the window has SLAMMED shut, and us ending with 2 incomings in 2 positions we need strengthening, how do you feel about our business? I'm chuffed that we actually got Almiron and am really excited to see him play, but he should've been in earlier if we had any competence to bed him in to the ethos of the team. It's a last ditch attempt to placate Rafa and was paid for with a loan rather than the club's money. Where's it gone fat Ash, you cunt? Love Miggy though. Barreca doesn't seem an awe inducing signing but it's depth in a position we've needed competition in for Dummett for years. Apparently quick, which is good. Don't know too much about him. We've loaned out players that need games, especially Murphy. Not too arsed about Aarons or Lazaar.

Aye, unreal. Not surprised with it being from the Daily Mail but am surprised that it's Craig Hope that's written it.

For those that don't want to give the Fail clicks

Him and Jim White. Why the hell am I even watching this shite, switching it off.
-
Not great news for us. Might be a permanent apparently. They weren't going down anyway, really.

Zaha, Batshuayi, Townsend is an impressive front 3, like.

I have to admit that I'm utterly clueless about the guy apart from a few clips which is why I'm excited about watching him. Hopefully you're spot on and he changes our season.
-
I'd probably argue for this for the Huddersfield and Burnley double header in a few weeks.

Him and Perez go wide when we're out of possession and defending in low block in like a 5-4-1. When we're attacking we go to like a 5-3-1-1 with Perez behind Rondon and Atsu in like a sort of free(ish) role in front of Longstaff and Hayden, or 5-2-2-1 with the two of them either side of Rondon. It seems to vary.
-
Just seems harsh on Perez if he's dropped imo. It's about the balance of the team and knowing Rafa's tendencies. the team you posted but Atsu or Kenedy for Perez is what i think he'll do. Not really about Perez is more it is that Rafa will see it to be important to have some natural width alongside Almiron and Rondon. Maybe, but Almiron like you say has been bought as a #10. If we stick with the 5-3-1-1 I'm not sure where the width could come from aside from the wing backs.
-
Maybe, but I want to see Almiron behind Rondon in the #10 role. We don't really play with wingers and Atsu I don't actually think has done that badly in that quasi CM position, although he's so frustrating when on the ball most of the time. Nice headache for Rafa to have I suppose.
