The Twitter thing just seems stupid to me. I can see that he's desperate to ingratiate himself to the supporters, but there is absolutely no way that being a mouthy twat on Twitter is ever going to do anything other than backfire massively. If he makes claims about the size and ambition of the club, he just looks stupid when they try to sign players and they snub them for "smaller" clubs. If he slags off the current players hell look like an idiot when the season starts and they're still in the squad - at best he's just pissed off his own players who will now be belligerent towards the club, at worst he's just told every potential buyer that the wage-sponge is not worth buying and he's stuck with a crap, belligerent player. It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt. Just keep off Twitter unless it's something banal like welcoming a 39-year-old journeyman clogger of a centre-half to the club, or wishing the best of luck for the future when some other lunatic club buys one of their crap players. Good tour d'horizon. My mackem mate is wondering why some aren't waking up and smelling the coffee, they've released a large number of players but can't afford to cut loose high earners like Cattermole etc, whilst not bringing anyone in, he feels it's clear the debt hasn't been 'cleared'. On his part it's just frustration at the other Sunderland fans who lap up the Twitter interaction with "the Don" and that other twat from Oxford who decided to churn out that he always thought Newcastle United were "a bit arrogant", whilst not piping up about that when we played them in the cup at Oxford 18 months ago.

Unbelievable game. Ronaldo is surely not human, the guy is absolute class, time after time.

De Gea, the fuck?

Not having a go, but you were 3 (f*** me i feel old) when they were last in the Premier league. Why for old times sake? Genuinely curious. Aye. But for some reason I'd like to see the 90s PL teams make up the table, rather than your Cardiffs and Bournemouths. Weird. Same here mind. Sheff Wed's and Di Canio's, Forest (first major implosion of a team i can remember) Coventry and Steve Ogroz???, Norwich and their European nights with Gunn in goal. Loved it, just isn't the same. Wondered if you were schooled by an older brother or something. 90s were great mind, proper new dawn of football (even in Italy we had the Milans, Juve, Lazio's being amazing, Ajax showing the world how its done) My dad.

A mackem mate of mine can see right through the bullshit, like. I'm paraphrasing but he essentially said that they've got friendlies set up with no team to put out for them, no incoming transfers clearly raises questions about their 'cleared debt'. But it's okay though because Stewart Donald replies to people on Twitter.

We could, but the c***s at the club above Rafa would never be as pragmatic. The club putting stories out in the press of a circa £20m bid, seems similar of the Berahino "we tried" ploy. Hope I'm wrong and we are willing to spend £20m+ on 1 player, like.
-
I'd take it as so, but I refuse to get my hopes up. Still would prefer Kenedy, love the guy; younger and a better player imo.
-
I'm thinking Chelsea won't sell for that price. They would probably prefer him to be loaned out again or a member of their squad. He's going to be worth more than 20m this time next season. If that's the case, put the £20m towards a striker. Haydn mate, we might, you know, by a striker too. I'm just sceptical of us having and spending actual money on footballers.
-
Good appointment for Leeds. A large number of cunts make up their fanbase but they're a club I'd like to see back in the PL for old times' sake.

Would rather we bid £20m for Kenedy.

Saudis want to play decent football at least.
