Same tbh. He's fucking over one of if not the main centrepiece of mine.

Well intentioned and worded but there's no real point to an open letter, Ashley won't see it.

Going to be ugly as fuck, this.

Turned the Forest - Leeds game on at 1-2, enjoyed that. It's what the PL has become, if you're not challenging for Europe you're just making up the numbers. The games themselves are barely competitive anymore, the most often televised fixtures are non-top 6 sides v top 6 sides and it just is seldom good to watch, one sets up to keep the score down and try to nick a goal from a break or set piece and the other keeps meaningless possession for 85 minutes. Those sort of games suck the atmosphere from grounds as well. Indicative of the state of the league.

Pogba's a cracking footballer, has all the attributes, but the dances he does when celebrating at OT are cringey as hell and watching them makes me want to top mesel. (yes, that's hyperbole) Got nothing to do with him as a person, I'm sure he's a class bloke but those dances, man. Wouldn't matter if it was one of our players or whatever, I think they're awful.

Probably not a good thing The guy is incredibly reckless, could have gifted us something. They'll be playing Lindelof + Jones/Smalling

That defending.

Yeah...that's not going to happen. Rafa will have us organised to the hilt again. Be a tough watch.

Steve Wraith man, acting like some all knowing oracle on anything takeover related. I know he's probably going to end up being right but fucking hell. One of the biggest plusses I'd get from a takeover would be him being shown up as a cunt again.

We won't go down. We may well drop into the bottom 3 next month though. Would say I hope everyone doesn't piss their pants but I think that's inevitable.

Squires nailed him https://www.theguardian.com/football/ng-interactive/2018/may/01/david-squires-on-peter-drury-commentator-what-is-football-if-not-for-dreaming Normally don't like Squires but that's brilliant.

Peter Drury is a shit commentator. He seems to be constantly attempting to come up with some sort of Oscar Wilde-esque football related saying in his commentary and seems condescending when doing so.

That's a very fair answer. My fear is that his ignorance/arrogance/gambling instinct will tell him that we will come back at the first time of asking with the need only for minimal investment in the squad. He already tried it in the January window of Rafa's promotion season and unfortunately, his penny pinching was proved right (in his eyes) as we still went up and subsequently stayed up. We know that that was down to Rafa, I think he'll assume any old chancer will be able to do it because we are Newcastle United. This all brings me back to the thought/hope that only a sustained period in the lower divisions will get him seriously thinking about selling. That's at least 3 or 4 years away, minimum. I also think he won't sell because he knows that's what the fans want. I think he's enjoying teasing us with the potential sale. I hope you are right, I really do, but I remain cynical of his current intentions. We have every right to be cynical and what you've just said there is probably how this'll all unravel if he doesn't sell.

Really? Yep. Every time i allow myself begin to think that something might be happening, I ask myself why would he sell? I've never been able to answer it. There is no incentive for him to sell when his wealth and power increases every day. I can try and answer: he won't back Rafa so Rafa is gone in the summer. When Rafa goes he'll need to spend significantly on the squad in the summer as the moron who's next in charge won't be fit to tie Rafa's shoes. That'll cost money. If we go down, we have zero saleable assets to finance a promotion push, plus a reduce in TV revenue and advertising for his shite shops. He'd have to finance a push himself, again costing money, and third time lucky there are no guarantees. The 'it's a cash cow for him, why would he sell' argument only washes with Rafa here imo. The only problem with this theory is that you’re assuming that Ashley is rational, logical thinker who likes to plan ahead, and not a fat idiot who would much rather gamble and do random shit. It’s also pretty obvious he enjoys trolling the fans which doesn’t help either. I'm not saying it's what I think, it's the only answer I can come to in regards to him actually selling. No one can second guess the fat cunt.

The amount of people saying the MG cancelled protests because they were fooled by this ffs, starting to boil my piss. So many saying it now you can't change the narrative.

It's apparently £200m with the other £100m only being paid if we make CL in the next decade. An EXCLUSIVE ERMAGERD with no source quotes from journalists I've never heard of, with nothing from the trusted NE journalists. The former are probably right, like. But still.
