  1. Why would you dream about Dembele? No idea really. A young, quick player to go with the already quick 3 behind him who I'd be looking forward to watching at SJP (like the time we were linked with Angel Correa in the summer) if we got him. Be a huge gamble like, but he's a player I'd be looking forward to see. That's probably an indicator of how desperate I am for us to get a new striker though.
  2. So it's neither of my 2 dream choices. :'( https://twitter.com/CaulkinTheTimes/status/955719898365333505

  4. Luckily we've got a really patient home crowd which isn't at all utterly rife with stinking anxiety. I genuinely don't think the message will ever get through to those who moan at the ground at games. Nope. And I really feel that, ultimately, it'll be a contributing factor to him leaving. Yes, obviously, there will be far more significant reasons for him calling it a day with us, but it was the fans that kept him the first time. If the crowd keep being arseholes to the players, after years of the manager desperately pleading with them to be the opposite, it'll make his decision to go a lot easier. His name is chanted at every game, mind. The fans are the reason he's remained here, after 3 (so far) transfer windows in which he's been screwed over. The home fans are poor at times, but they'll never be a reason for him to leave the club. The away fans are in a different league to the home ones mind. I know they are. Our away support is absolutely superb, best in the country by far. Me being biased course. /OurFansThread /RTG Fuck off.
  5. I'm a 2 if we get a striker in. 6 if we don't.

  9. We need a goalscorer. Absolutely desperate. Get one and we'll be absolutely fine.
  10. Do you reckon Liverpool have been awful, Greg?
  11. Dat pace. (As long as the new striker is actually brought in)
  12. Impossible to imagine Ashley breaking our transfer record for a 30 year old mind. Neither can I really. Nice to hope/dream though.
  13. FFS, getting sick of this now. I'll rip off the analogy used on the TF podcast. You're hungry, you want a steak bake. You walk into Greggs and pay £1.60 for it or however much a steak bake is now. If Greggs charged £15 for it, you won't pay it. It's not worth that. Aye, it's a lovely steak bake, that pastry, nice chunks of steak in a gravy. Lush. But no one would pay £15 for it, it's not valuing it correctly. Same with PCP not paying Ashley's price. Aye, we're a great football club with great potential but we have had our assets stripped, our revenue decreased and severe underinvestment across 10 years taking it's toll.
  14. The forum software's f***ed, it's not his fault. Blame Dave. Dave, sort it oot.
  15. I can barely contain myself!! Surely they must be some £18m foreign strikers that are better than that bag of knackers?! How much do Atleti want for Gameiro? At a guess I'm going to say £12m May be a risk, coming to the PL and all that, but that's a snip. If Atleti want that, that is. Going for him is a no brainer imo.
  16. Do you reckon he needs to just calm down and stop spending?
