Probably. Love to see her try to though, mind.
-
Despite the fact it isn't worth more than her valuation imo, she has to up the bid to have a chance. Far easier said than done obviously and I'm no person to comment on business and financing, but Ashley won't budge. Urgh. He's such an evil, horrible wanker. Hope he dies asap.
-
It looks like she still seriously wants it. Agree with everything else you've said though. He's a lying, vindictive cunt.
-
I'm far more inclined to believe that article and her than Ashley. Ashley lied again. There's still an ounce of hope but it's not looking great.
-
State of him, man. Ashamed he's associated with our club. Wanker.
-
Whilst he is a miserable cunt, he's right.
-
I've taken it as she still wants the club. Whilst the club isn't worth more than £250m she needs to up it. Will she do it? I'm leaning towards no but I've taken this as a shred of hope rather than a final collapse of the burning bridges into the river.
-
I've got an awful feeling that as soon as we edge closer to PL safety (because I think we'll stay up) Ashley will just up the price to something ridiculous like £400m because he'll have seen the new TV deal. I've got to have hope though. I'll be miserable otherwise. What she's said is just what we want; whilst a Man City-esque takeover would be amazing, just being an efficient, growing football club that's allowed to maximise it's potential and revenue/turnover is all we want.
-
Happened to me as well Bimpy. Dave's just fast as fuck. So she still wants the club then. Good. Hope.

Sooner believe her than Ashley and his cronies. Always remember: "The club admitted to the Tribunal that it repeatedly and intentionally misled the press, public and fans of Newcastle United."
-
I'll go with both, keeps the spirit up somewhat. Aye. Need some spirit ahead of that stupid football match on Saturday.
-
"Big read on that potential takeover and plans for the club." Is that an indicator that there's still life or is it clutching at straws?
-
Fairly certain NDAs are agreements to not disclose stuff from the club's books, so she can't say "NUFC is making X million every financial year" et cetera. So she can talk to the press.
-
Really intrigued what she'll say. Glad she's having the interview with Caulkin as well. Best NE football journalist out there.
-
Can do that celebration as much as he wants if he scores the goals to keep us up.
-
Unless they sold Icardi or if he got crocked, probably not.
-
Can't get both. I'd be fucking chuffed if we got Sturridge, mind. Can't see it though.
-
Kenedy looked quite good last night, like. Played well.
-
He won't leave as long as the fans are behind him imo. I expect he'll be gone this summer with the takeover collapsing. He'll be expecting PL money in the summer should we stay up. Whether he gets it though... His contract is up at the end of next season. Probably will see it out, he fought Hicks and Gillett for a while and the end of tenure at Liverpool despite being described as 'mutual consent' was probably more of a dismissal. I think (hope) he'll stake it out.

"Rafa signed these players! They're shite! Look at me! I exist! I like attention!"
-
Not even going to click that. That's what it's for, it's aimed at Newcastle fans to get a reaction and get everyone talking about it. Fuck Wise, fuck Ashley and fuck Sky.
-
Aye. Only quote you really need to look at when stuff comes from Ashley's side is one from a few years back: "The club admitted at the tribunal that it intentionally misled the press, public and fans of Newcastle United."
-
I'm the same (ABA) and regarding your second point, people around about when she put her bid in for Liverpool paint her as a glorified tyre-kicker apparently. They also pointed to the similarities between that bid and the bid for us. Ashley contests any kind of bid was ever made, and Tom Werner did similar. It's been really odd, like. All of it.
