I only heard about it from that coursemate of mine who said Isak and Murphy were in there back in April. No idea how long it's been there for. Guestlist only it seems.

Chinawhite is that nightclub in the Assembly Rooms, a few of the first team squad have went there over the last 12 months. Coursemate from my master's this year saw Isak and Murphy in there after we beat Southampton in April. Wonder if they'll be asked to not gan after that now.

Played Man City away at 8pm, game finishes at 10pm, what time would the players have gotten back to town from Manchester? Then go out? Odd. Glad he's alreet, like.

I'll personally reserve judgement on the way we set up in games until the next international break in early October after we've played a variety of sides, some good and some shite. Not excusing the horseshit that was yesterday but we have had the hardest start in the league. If we're languishing in the bottom half at the close of play on 8 October then I think we can look at just what isn't working. For example if Barnes still isn't starting then or if these pre planned subs still hinder us, then aye.
-
Aye, seen it too. Can't tell if it looks like he's trying to break it up but he gets lamped so reacts.

Can only find 1 tweet referencing this and its from an account whose likes you don't want to see.

Woke up still livid at the players and Howe for that. Ah well, it's only the footy innit. At least one day we'll definitely all die. Lovely, lovely, warm, sweet death.
-
Probably just unhappy at the way we threw that game away which is fair enough tbh. Was absolutely lifting. Booing and heckling is obviously too far and I nor anyone around where I was did that. But frustrations at conceding in stoppage time after the way that last 15 minutes went is par for the course imo. At any football stadium anywhere.

2 clean sheets in 20 PL games now. Obviously not the be all and end all, but y'kna.
-
It wasn't anticipated that we'd be competing with these teams so soon after the end of 2021-22 though. You've got to give him slack there. I don't think we were poor in any of the 12 games against the usual top 6 last season. I agree that's its not blasphemy to criticise him. Today was poor imo for 90 minutes, not just the 70 minutes with a man advantage.
-
Do think this is quite short sighted tbh. Last season Man City away we missed quite a few chances, should've scored at least twice. Hammered Man Utd and Spurs. Don't think we were 'wank' against Arsenal at all; they just took their chances and we didn't. Leeds away was crap for 25 minutes then we fought back and got the lead in an away game against a team scrapping against relegation in their first home game under a new manager. Brighton we were class and it was fairly unprecedented how Leicester set up against us; we had about 80% possession and missed a load of chances again, hit the woodwork twice iirc. Today was crap, but the games in isolation don't add up to him having a mixed record in big games at all imo.
-
You can criticise Howe and the team for today but still think he's phenomenal and done a job so fantastic it's pretty much unprecedented, like. I was backing him back when we had 1 win in 21(?) whilst a few on here were calling for a Benitez return. We had a game on a plate against 10 men that we threw away. It was shit. Don't think it's necessarily mad to call it us as such.
-
To entertain this drivel for a second longer than I need to; Barnes is guaranteed G&A in the PL. Was poor today, but he is. Hall has yet to play a minute for us and signed 5 minutes ago. Whether he replaces Burn is moot, he'll get minutes, is highly rated and will play. Can't make a judgement on him yet. Livramento will get minutes. He's a good signing. Perhaps a bit overpriced but if we didn't get him we'd have been asking a 32, soon to be 33 year old Trippier to play >40 games.
-
His signings being poor is a beyond fucking lifting take but you're allowed to criticise him without wanting him out otherwise what's the point of a forum without differing points of view? The subs negatively impacted us today. The game was there for us, yet we fucking lost it. Awful.
-
We have and we've proven that we can. Spurs home and away, Man Utd home and away, Chelsea home and away and even the games we've drawn and lost against Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City last season have shown that. Today, not winning a match that was handed to us on a plate, in fact actually ending up losing it, is utter shite.
-
Were we though? I don't remember a clear cut chance we created. Closest we came to scoring outside of the actual goal which Liverpool created for us was Almirón taking it by the scruff of the neck and hitting the post.
-
Thought he was good today then ended up costing us the game. Christ.
-
I agree, I wanted him upgraded this summer but I think criticism of him today is harsh.
-
Howe's subs were shit and whilst they weren't the sole reason for today, they majorly contributed to the defeat. We had control of the game until the subs in midfield and taking Gordon and Tonali off was incredibly bizarre.
-
I did think our chance creation was shite btw. We had nowt clear cut bar what they created for us, which we scored. Tbh, think we were just fucking lifting all game.
-
Almiron getting stick on social media (I haven't read much from here) but I thought he was decent today and looked our most likely to get the second goal. Took the game by the scruff of the neck and hit the post second half, more than the rest of the lads did. Barnes was much poorer when he come on. Subbing Gordon off was brainless, he had the beating of Alexander-Arnold on a yellow.
-
Subs negatively affected us. When Isak is isolated, subbing him for Wilson makes absolutely zero difference. Tonali and Gordon for Longstaff and Barnes also negatively affected us. Obviously shielding his players with his comments post match. But game management today was really poor. That second half was lifting.
