  1. Only expected 4 signings this window, fully on the Liverpool under Klopp trail now. At their 2017-18 phase now. Would give the window 9/10 assuming Hall signs. A right sided CB I never thought we'd get this summer as the one we'd want will be basically in profile and ability a right footed Botman which would cost a canny wedge. That'll be sorted next summer I think. And I've been banging on about a RW all window but Almirón and Murphy were superb on Saturday, the need isn't as pressing as I probably thought. Chiesa on loan though would take the window to a 10/10.
  2. Completely disregards habitual behaviour of football fans as a factor, who turn up at random points in the hour before kick off. Going to have fans full of drink having their tickets rejected, fans missing kick off etc. Can the club do anything right regarding ticketing, man. Everything has been absolutely terrible.
  3. Palace game confirmed as staying Saturday 3pm btw.

    Lewis Hall

Would top off a superb window. Top 3 and CL quarter final incoming.
  5. Reckon yi fatha is going to go to one of those and celebrate Saudi goals like Newcastle goals because of the 'fewm' it will cause when in actuality it's just going to make him look like a relentless doylem.
  6. Aye, having to go to Sosnowiec, outskirts of Katowice. I imagine they'd have to play there if they get through given they're there for the next round? Club are putting on additional chartered rail travel for fans as well as bus travel, is an hour's drive. Got a grim WWII history, Sosnowiec. Like most Polish cities tbh.
  7. January 2004; I've just watched the incident that they're talking about. I'd have been seething for weeks.
  8. Merseyside derby, Chelsea v Arsenal, Sheff Utd v Man Utd, Man City v Brighton, even Villa v West Ham all look like more likely fixtures for TV than us v Palace. Palace at SJP is always a really grim spectacle.
  9. Premier League Panel is probably the best of those tactics Twitter accounts; fully understood us under Benitez and in the early Howe days. Last season as well tbf. But is utterly obsessed with us signing a CDM to push Bruno forward and didn't get the Tonali signing.
  10. Rodri is probably the best CDM in the world, like. But I do agree it's our best chance for years. Should've had something last season. Our strikers are on it this time though, both of them.
  11. If we have ≥10 points come the first international break we'll be getting talked up as title contenders. Our run of fixtures interspersed by the CL up to November after the first break are great. Can't see us genuinely challenging for the league though. Can't believe I've just typed that sentence seriously, but you need 85-95 points to stand a serious chance and I can't see us getting that many. I can see us improving on last season's total of 71 though.
  12. Emirati, Chinese and Russian money is okay though. Horrific fucking rag. Should've been liquidated in 1989.
  13. Messaged Man City mate of mine, is just thinking about the Super Cup atm but expects a tough game and Alvarez to play the KDB role.
  14. Well you'll just have to make do with the post match session in town.
  15. Aye, another stonewaller but we were awful that night and deserved to lose. Wolves should've won this which will sting them even more.
  16. That's genuinely a disgrace. I'd be spitting feathers if we didn't get that. Mental.
  17. They do well between both boxes and create chances but just don't finish them. Been the case for a while and Jimenez is gone who hasn't been prolific since that horrible head injury anyway but they haven't replaced him. Neves would chip in with 5 or so and he's gone as well. It's why I think they'll really struggle. Threw a tenner on them, Luton and Sheff Utd going down as soon as Lopetegui left.
  18. Think they've been saying that for a while now, from 2020-21 to now they've not had a player score more than 6 goals in a season.
  19. Went from Sion to Leipzig to Hertha to Atleti then to Wolves after leaving Brazil. Is he even a striker? He's never been prolific even in the Bundesliga.
