Every time I watch Diego Costa it reminds me what mitrovic is missing. Costa is a big guy but works his socks off and puts him self about loads. I'm not saying mitrovic should be as talented as him but there's nothing stopping him having the application and work rate that Costa does. Exactly how to play the lone striker role

Same for me. He's 22 not 18. And has champions league experience and has been here 18 months too. Just does not have the work rate, engine or mobility needed to play as a 1 up top. Shame as I do like the guy

It really is a weird place Even the Villa fans admire Rafa and us atm (team), and think he's class. Ha ha! Fish and Sima and the rest of our lot have some patience to put up with the utter drivel most of them lot spout! They don't have get caught up in long debates though. We went down yet our stadium is rammed, we had a lot of money to spend, we have a world class manager and the most positive vibe around the club for years. They go down and they would be a total state and they know it. They just accept being a mess and 17th as they dare not show any discontent as that would be deluded. Call us deluded for wanting to be back in the top 8 despite us having numerous top 6 premiership finishes to there zero. They just need to enjoy this next 5 months of "mind the division"

He won 6 out of 29 matches. With a weak as piss defence and no striker. Not saying he is great but anyone would of struggled with the state of our defence last season

Don't think he is as bad as he is made out to be from his time here. There were a lot of good performances and results. (Southampton, manure, Chelsea, Arsenal, Norwich, Liverpool at home, Spurs away spring to mind) Any manager would struggle with the clowns at the back we had and no recognised striker. He had some poor results too but yeah I find it hard to call him when he was hampered my a mess of a recruitment policy.

One of them away performances again that's not great but we just seem to edge 0-1 or 0-2. Just always seems to fall in our favour after a professional, efficient yet unspectacular job. Like Rotherham, Derby, Leeds, Barnsley, Bristol city.
