If you show me anything that Louise Taylor has written about Newcastle which is even close to what this lad wrote I'll be amazed. It was only last December he wrote that he hopes we get relegated. Completely unsuitable to be reporting on SAFC. No one has said that Louise Taylor has called us scummy cunts in an article but she constantly has digs at us (I personally don't care I just don't read her articles) Since being a journalist he hasn't in any of his articles had any digs at Sunderland has he?
-
The chronicle do hire Sunderland fans don't they? James Hunter? I bet if I go through his facebook/twitter/previous articles from his previous jobs I would find sly digs at Newcastle Difference is I couldn't give a fuck, I'm a grown up who understands rivarly
-
Just think getting him fit and having him as an option should happen, better than Colback? I'm not saying don't have Hayden and Shelvey as our first choice but whilst he's here (probably until January) the lad can surely help the tram

Howay lads he's our best defender he had a bad game, we move on The lads only 22 and has a. very bright future.

I find it staggering that people would take promotion over a cup. This club has won ONE trophy in my lifetime. I'm old. Fairs cup? or you are an old bugger It's the new generation unfortunately, there brought up that the premier league is the be all and end all but in reality it's not. The football league has 92 teams in it not 20 Of course staying in the top division is the aim(whatever they call it) but it's not success, not really silverware is I'd do anything to see us win a cup, who remembers that team that finishes 17th and just stays up? Nothings guaranteed but I do feel that if we don't get promoted this year, we will eventually, it will just take longer Here comes the unpopular opinion of the day: the cups aren't nearly as important as they used to be. Not even close. I absolutely want us to do well in cups and hope we do win one, but between the choices presented here, it's promotion 10/10 times for me. Basically this question is crap, because extrapolation is inevitable and I don't like how things look if we don't achieve promotion this season. Its all opinion I guess, you are right people aren't as bothered about the cup as they used to be ( as this pole proves) If we asked this in 1989 would the majority pick promotion or cup win? I think they would be cup win. . To me though, the urge for success and silverware has grown even more

And it was a major achievement at the time, an absolute disgrace that it's been downgraded in recent years. Agreed tbf mate, it was always a legitimate Europeon trophy, we beat some top teams in 69 and our crowds were fantastic for the games

Surely got to get this lad playing in some way? He'd be canny in this divsion.

Dinnar, they're weird bastards in real life like. They just have normal ones outside of RTG
-
Was more just putting the starting 11 for the cup game tbh
-
Repeat lies enough times they become facts in mackemland, that forum must embarrass the relatively normal mackems surely weird b******s

Sels Yedlin Lascellas Mbemba Dummett Hayden Shelvey Gouffran Ritchie Lazaar Mitrovic Gouffran will work hard and cover for Yedlin when he has too, we get to see Lazaar play a role further forward and see how he does and will again cover for Dummett as he played left back last year Would be interesting to see Ritchie in a more central attacking role, giving him more freedom. His lack of pace will be less exposed too Thought on this for the cup game?

Canny team they said, none of our players players would get into there starting 11 and they were going to finish 10th with the Moysiah
-
People actually saying promotion?!?!? Crazy, we've seen our team get promotion, we've seen our team in a relegation battle in , we've seen us finish midtable and we've even seen us challenge for the title. We've done it, we've seen it all before But we haven't seen us win a trophy, that's what we all crave for, success. 1955 since this club won a trophy, that needs to change
-
Ahh yes, did you see the rest? apparently we were out of the relegation zone with 12 games to go when Rafa took over They have to make up blatant lies to makes themselves feel better, we were 19th when he took over with 10 games to go. Utter bellends. But yet when Stokoe took over in 87 and he took them to the third division and had 8 games to save them it was all 'mackemenemys' fault
-
He's got to this consistently now mind, defensively he looked a lot better. Got to remember this lad was a important part of a relatively poor Swansea side that finished 8th in the place and was a regular for england. He really should be putting these performances in this league

Benitez said: “We can still improve. The team was playing well, everybody was pushing and working hard, but you always make some mistakes. “The main thing for us was to get the three points so we could leave our fans happy. We also managed to get the clean sheet. “We now have to show we can concentrate in every game. It doesn’t matter if we score six goals, we get three points in the end and now have to concentrate on the next game and not lose that concentration.” The victory came after striker Dwight Gayle, who has already scored four goals this season, was left on the bench, with Mitrovic returning to the side. “I’m very happy with the strikers,” Benitez said. “Gayle is playing well, Daryl Murphy is doing well, so to play someone else is always difficult. “I’m really pleased because we have a good squad and everybody has to be ready to be key players for us for the rest of the season. “To have to decide between Gayle, Murphy and Mitrovic is a good problem, but it is a problem – it’s not easy to keep everybody happy. “Hopefully we will keep winning and they will understand that it is all for the good of the team.” It must be a joy working with Rafa, the atmosphere in the dressing room will be fantastic. Having a large competitive squad is really helping imo

I so want this to happen and for him to finally take them down, two birds, one stone. The problem with that is that Pardew always has a year or so period where he looks like a world beater, that'll do the trick to keep them up no doubt. What we need them to do is employ another Lawrie McMenemy type manager one that'll rip them completely apart to thepoint where they get relegated to the third tier like that time. If they're saying it was Rafa that took us down then it wasn't McMenemy that took them down it was Stokoe

Can ya not

Is he better than Janmaat?

Alan Judge isn't available till November :/
-
Judge is very much a technical player like. He's a dwarf. Never seen him. I just meant in general. I really hope that the next few players we sign are very good on the ball. Hopefully we can get at least 3 more in. Winger, LB and a striker. Ideally i'd like us to get a good creative CM as well, one that can run the show and dictate the play and tempo as well as being able to make a good final ball. But i'dbe happy with 3 players, but i just can't see us getting all of these unless we get one of them in very soon. Deals can happen quite quick from nowhere to be fair. And we're probably working on a few at the same time. Fingers crossed that we get what we need. I keep seeing this about needing a creative midfielder, are Shelvey and Diame not exactly that?

What an utter f***ing gobshite. As bad as the porn barons at Wham. Imagine if Shepherd had twitter when he was in charge?
