what does this actually mean though? he's knowingly signed up for the conditions of employment which we all know essentially means being the guy with his finger in the dyke until it crashes down on top of him unless he starts by winning from the off he can f*** off tbh, and that's not a contradiction of my previous position but unless he starts winning he deserves s*** for it Rafa offered his services to the club. Bruce was offered the job. Bruce's start to the season is comparable to Rafa's, last. It's one rule for one, another rule for others, innit? Exactly, but Rafa won the champions league 15 years ago so it's okay apparently

It means don't hound him out after a game ? Rafa knowingly signed up for the conditions of employment didn't he? Don't get me wrong Rafa fought and fought with Ashley for 3 years, and Ashley broke promise after promise with Rafa which is why I wasn't angry at him him leaving, I didn't blame him. Rafa wasn't a yes man, but the facts are for 3 years he did work under the conditions Ashley set out for him. Okay, so he loses his first 2 games in charge, what you going to do, hound him out? And then say that no manager should take the job under Ashley?
-
Are you being serious? He deserves abuse from the first minute, he's done f*** all wrong man Surely he deserves a chance atleast? He's a fat manure mackem shithead who pretends to be a Newcastle fan and is a horrible yes man snake. Yes he should be as he shouldn't be here. Accepting him is accepting Ashley's version of nufc  christ... You're actually adcovating hounding out a manager before his first game in charge? Can we not just atleast give him a chance What chance? he isn't suddenly going to be a world class manager like Rafa. He is a terrible PL manager, with a long and s*** record and taking a job he isn't qualified to do. Add on top it's working with an utter c*** of an owner in the most toxic situation we've had in the last 12 years. There's nothing left to get behind, and Bruce is symbolic of huge lack of care and ambition. Rafa finished 10th and 13th in the premier league at Newcastle, no higher. Are you saying theres no chance that Bruce could repeat that at Newcastle? Bearing in mind he literally did the same thing at a club not so far away...
-
You'll get no arguement from me whatsoever that under Ashley we will never be successful, and that if we do have a good season the next season he'll find a way of f***ing it all up Do you not see how ridiculous you sound, you're saying a manager should be hounded out when he's just been given the job? We finished 13th under Rafa, and we all said that Rafa did a good job right? (he did) Is it against the realms of possibility that Bruce could finish 13th next season? I didnt want Bruce as manager we should have done more to keep Rafa at the club. But he's here now, we've got to give a chance to see what he can do

Can we not just atleast give him a chance i'm not as rabid as the others but bruce "deserves" nothing whatsoever imo, if he goes out and gets results then i'll maybe grudgingly accept him as a competent football manager but he's got it all to prove no one else should be greeted with indifference until he proves he deserves otherwise one way or another If he goes out and gets results and gets us to finish 13th and 10th like Rafa did, then hegets lot of praise from me. If he gets us relegated then he'll rightfully get a lot of stick from supporters. Any newly appointed manager deserves a chance to see what he can do. It's absolutely pathetic to completely write of a manager when he's been here 5 minutes.

Wants to hound the lad out in his first game In charge If that's what you think should happen then yes people will be too 'soft' on him then
-
Are you being serious? He deserves abuse from the first minute, he's done f*** all wrong man Surely he deserves a chance atleast? Ok let's give Bruce and Ashley a chance Ashley a chance? Nah he's been here 12 years now, I want him out like everybody else Bruce? He's been here 5 minutes and hasn't even managed a single game yet. He deserves a chance to see what he can do
-
You honestly find my stance of giving a manager who hasn't even managed a single fucking game yet, a chance baffling? Its baffling that you won't give a brand new manager that has done fuck all wrong a chance? If he fucks up then he fucks up but to actually say boo him and hound him out in his first game is just pathetic. You're directing your anger at completely the wrong person.

We lost/drew winnable home games under Rafa and there was no real unrest apart from a few boos, so it should be no different under Bruce

Either that or he was managing in the championship, a premier league club came along so he took the job? Claiming he is a 'fan' of said club. Hence he knows what is going on re the current regime and ownership. Knows of the fan unrest and history. Knows of the anger..but despite that he takes the job? Why? Answer is he is on the gravy train, a snake of a man, who owes allegiance to his own self interests. Drops other clubs like we drop our kegs, is a disloyal fat c*** and a t*** who still refers to another club as 'united'. We all know what he is. Pardew 2.0 A puppet for the regime, a mug, a snake and a f***ing collaborating weasle who deserves s*** from the start. Christ Well he certainly went to SJP as a child, so he is a Newcastle fan isn't he? Not sure how a Newcastle fan can manage Sunderland, I couldn't but that's football for you I suppose. So because he knows of the fans unrest and know how the club is run, that means he shouldn't have taken the job? that's absolutely crazy to say, why would he turn a premier league job down when managing in the championship? He had to take the chance. Although Rafa challenged and fought with Ashley for 3 years for change at the end of the day he still took over NUFC knowing what Ashley is like? Deserves s*** from the start? So we hound him out before he even manages a game?

What's he done wrong? ?

Probably not far off this, although I think Barreca or Dummett will be included in the match day squad, with some minutes later on in the game perhaps. Forgot all about Dummett
-
Dubravka Schar. Lascelles. Lejeune Yedlin. Longstaff. Hayden. Ritchie Perez. Almiron Rondon 3-4-2-1 Subs: Darlow, Fernandez, Manquillo, Ki, Diame, Atsu, Joselu Is what I think it will be... Shelvey to miss out with Diame and Ki getting minuites against Wolves and in the friendly
-
Would have liked to see Almiron from the start but not played for 2 months so it's understandable. But Manquillo, Joselu making the bench over Muto, Ki and Dummett?
-
This is the thing, playing a back 3/5, gets the best out of Lejeune and Schar. I think Lascelles has looked a bit more solid having them either side of him too, albeit still a bit sloppy at times.
-
Atsu for Almiron and that'll be it imo, we could switch back to 4-2-3-1 now Dummett is fit but i can't see it as we're away. What team would you go for if we went 4-2-3-1? Don't think he trusts Schar in a back 4,I think he'd probably go Lascelles and Fernandez
-
That's the team I would go with but got a feeling, Barreca will start with Ritchie playing further up replacing Atsu
-
They've spent like 6-7m in league one man, look at the state of them
-
Dubravka Schar Lascelles Lejeune Yedlin Longstaff Diame Ritchie Perez Almiron Rondon 3-4-2-1
-
Give owa man, kept bottling challenges. Coward at times. Got better in the second half and tried to get forward a bit more but he was poor today
-
Absolute bottlejob, dreadful in the first half, not much better in the second
-
Awful that mind, atleast we didn't lose
