  1. Spurs are most definitely the lesser of the two evils. Let Man Utd rot, please.
  2. It’s a shit day, but we are still in a strong position, which we should be grateful for. Fail to beat Ipswich and we’re not worthy of UCL. Beat them and we only need to win half our remaining games at most.
  3. City virtually certain of a UCL spot now given their run in. Down to any two from four for the remaining.
  4. Athletic Club will well beat them. Rangers rode their luck to only lose by two, Athletic were all over them from 1st to 180th minute.
  5. It’s a retro Man’ Reds match this where a bribed referee gets them out of jail. Classic Man’ Red on show.
  6. He always talks about how he can’t stop thinking about football; how he couldn’t even enjoy the cup win because he couldn’t stop thinking about the next game. I love his passion, but as much as someone might love their job there’s such thing as being too obsessed and overworking yourself to the point where something like this can happen. The man has sacrificed his health(hopefully, only to a minor degree) in a bid to bring us glory! Get well soon, Eddie.
  7. To be fair, there’s nothing to suggest Emery would not have done as good of a job, he’s been just as transformative for Villa as Howe has been for us. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t win them a trophy by the end of next season. Could well be the FA Cup this year, more than likely in the semi final and only one of Sky’s six left.
  8. When he, Bruno and Tonali play together they are the best midfield in the league, and they proved that today.
  9. Over the line? Yes, clearly. 100% over the line and not just 90 or so? Much harder to tell.
  10. For performances I’ve seen in the flesh: Florian Thauvin. He was a good player overall in his career, but clearly didn’t want to be at us and was forced to move for the money. His performances showed it.
  11. It’s a common sight in the championship to see one team start like a house on fire, only to lose form and fade away as the second half of the season takes over.
  12. Some proper knee-jerk reactions to a bad window here. The guys not been here two months yet, do you really expect him to plan and execute everything in less than 8 weeks? Let’s give him a proper judgement this time next year.
  13. I am hoping our fans won’t be daft enough to run on the pitch tomorrow, and let the lads celebrate and do a lap of honour, but won’t hold my breath because every fanbase has its mugs.
  14. Please have some sympathy for serial worriers like myself, who still worry about the 0.5% chance we won’t make it lol. It’s something the Mike Ashely era has scarred a lot of us with. Disaster was always around the corner, good things were never going to happen in his era. Right now; I am stressing over us barely having a midfield for Monday. Some of us healed from the Ashely era the day the takeover went through, but me myself still haven’t fully healed from the trauma of the Mike Ashley era. Seeing us the UCL might be the right antidote, though.
