But you’re getting into intangibles then. Every club is going to have some kind of metric to measure who gets tickets when demand outstrips supply. Sometimes it’s shit for people, and maybe the use of language like ‘deserves’ isn’t always fair, but you can’t expect a club to take into account every possible life scenario that might have prevented someone from actively (in measurable terms) supporting the club for a period of time.

Difficult to say without going in to every single section. The ones by the halfway line that are completely gone look like they hold about 700ish. As @LFEEsays some at the top are virtually completely free. Bit of guess, but definitely less than 10k gone. Probably closer to 5k. If I get really, really bored later I might try and do a proper count.

I dunno. I understand that a random ballot strips out any question of bias, but is that right in itself? If you’ve got someone who’s been to every game for the last 20 years, surely they deserve some bias over someone who’s been to a couple of games? You can go on forever like and never come to a completely satisfactory conclusion.

Yeah, it is difficult to counter that argument. Suppose the only possible way of looking at it favourably (and not saying I agree) is that they’re endeavouring to give a (presumably) very small chance to those outside of a cohort which, at least in recent times, they don’t have any chance of getting into, as ST and Memberships have sold out ??♂️ (perhaps they’ve been listening to @AyeDubbleYoo?)

Not sure this really clears much up, but useful info nonetheless: https://www.brent.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/parking/wembley-event-day-parking/match-days

Probably not. Would imagine it being on along similar lines to the Emirates or Spurs. So not that much different to SJP really.

Not sure. Will try and do some digging over lunch.

Think there’s a one mile exclusion zone from selling alcohol around the stadium since the Euros debacle. Not sure what time that comes into effect though? We’re probably going to stay wherever we are on Sunday morning until about 2ish then just head straight to the stadium. And pay about £12 for a pint once inside.

Not that I want to promote them - but there’s definitely been a couple near the phone box opposite Shark Bar in recent times.

From p4 onwards, I think you’re right. However, that’s easy for me to say with a ticket already banked. If you’re in p4 and it’s not a massive hassle to be online and in the queue on Thursday morning, I’d still probably do it, and hopefully someone who’s in sharp will post on here and you’ll know whether it’s worth hanging on or just going back later when it’s quiet.
