Miley can't half read the play . If he gets enough game time his footballing brain could be incredible

Well if you can't learn from the best .......

Big goal for Osula !! Well done . Cracking finish
-
He wasn't interested at all the day. Said before if we're as up against it with psr as we've been led to believe I'd sell and get someone else in .
-
The stadium DJ needs a kick up the arse as well . Playing Morrissey solo singles isn't going to get the crowd bouncing

Ange is a prick who's lucky to be a Premier League manager.
-
Targetts lucky not to be booked for that. Longstaff can do a graft/ fetch and carry job in a better midfield but as a senior player he's one dimensional and completely lost. The only thing that may hold Miley back is he looks one paced but his passing, shooting and movement is miles ahead of Sean's. Barnes is playing like this game's beneath him. Very little effort and wanting the ball to him perfectly each time. Big chance for Osula the day and doesn't look up to it although the service is poor. He should have buried when clean through first half. We'll be seeing Bruno on at 60 mins to find a way through these at this rate. I'd like to see what sanusi's got to offer.

Tripper's slowing the play. He keeps cutting it back and playing the pass infield rather than taking the opportunity for the first time cross. It's allowing Bromley to set and get men in.
-
It's still relatively early in the tie . We've restored parity but Bromley still are going to be resolute and disciplined with something to hang onto . Need more from Barnes, Trippier and Schar. Bromley's forwards aren't really in it so up to him to bring it and use his passing range. Joelinton keeps showing and making runs and not being played in. Tempo's very poor and we need to up that considerably.

Brilliant grafting performance from Joelinton. Looked a real leader. The moment second half when he raced for a ball knowing full well even if he got to it he was going to get absolutely clattered epitomised the character of the fella, then topped it by holding the ball up in the channel within the next move. He'd jump in front of a bullet to win us the game this fella. An absolute lion !!

A Colossus. Me old grandad used to regale me with tales of big Frank Brennan and Big Dan has brought them flooding back. Love him !!
-
He's been at his absolute best these last few weeks. Been a key part of this run. Pope hasn't been at this level so far this season

I'm sorry I ever doubted you Eddie !!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/videos/ce8xek78m36o What a shithouse he is. Asked to expand on it and be specific on it and he bottles it, then gets aggressive with the interviewer. Sir Bobby said about Spurs rivals Arsenal they need to learn how to lose and it applies here. Ange left his top scorer on the bench and his tactics in the last 8 games have meant his side has let in 17 goals. Yet today's about "if all things were equal" . Team's leakier than a sieve on the Titanic. Get real and you might get some results. If Staveley gets control of Tottenham she won't put up with this clown for long.

Ange is a prick. Defending his "principles" when he's beaten and then crying about the referee when Madley did everything but punch the ball in the net for Spurs. We were good today I thought Spurs had a real go second half and much like the Manchester United game we were happy to concede possession and see out the the 1-2 lead. The ref though was appalling. As a club we never seem to exert the pressure other clubs do on referees but he shouldn't be on a Newcastle game again. Every 50/50 decision went Spurs way,the foul on Gordon for a penalty (why was this not looked at in more detail ?, someone else mentioned it was similar to the Van Dijk foul and at the time I couldn't believe that wasn't given). The knee to Dubravka's head, there was a blatant foul on Joelinton early second half that led to Spurs nearly scoring, that wasn't even remarked on. Then I learn the ref's the same as the Liverpool 3-3 game, after which I said felt cheated by his performance. I was convinced we were going to get fucked over and denied the three points. Everything he could do to influence the game in favour of the opposition he did as the game developed. Other teams like a Manchester United under Fergie or Klopp's Liverpool would make sure he couldn't referee them again he made David Coote look competent and impartial. Really proud of the team, a real top level performance of grit skill and determination. Howay The Lads !!!

When you look at how we identified targets ,the signings made Howe and the club has done incredibly well. Hall and Livramento could be the England full backs for 10 years . Isak is now proving himself to be one of the best strikers in world football . The initial signings of Trippier and Burn galvanized the club and Burn is still a consistent starting centre half now. Guimaraes is now worth double his fee. The only misses of I'm being really harsh were Tonali initially with the gambling addiction which I don't how that could have been foreseen and Barnes who's had to be content to be a squad player/supersub. Compare this to the type of business that Manchester United have done.

I like Amorim I think he's a good coach. Was really good in an honest interview post match. The problem he's got is he simply hasn't the players to play the formation he seems welded to. Amorim knew this and was originally insistent that he wanted to wait until the end of the season. Several of those players are hiding and several others are just not good enough. Amad ,Mainoo, and Hjolund are the only ones I'd definitely keep. All three tried to make it work today. Also if you're relying on Ratcliffe and Brailsford to back you up and get you the support infrastructure you need you're onto a loser. The squad itself is dire. You've got the not good enough but ageing honest pros like Maguire and Erikson. Then you've got whatevers going on with Rashford and Sancho, the absolute madness of the hugely priced Antony signing and the what the fuck have they bought them for in Zirkee, Casemiro and Onana. -

Amorims put Mainoo essentially on Tonali. It's stopped a lot of our dynamism with his movement smothered in midfield. -

Eddie needs to get into the players at half time. Been brilliant then completely switched off here. Need the intensity back. Get at them don't allow them to get any confidence they're so brittle a good 15 mins from us and another goal and they'll completely cave.
