  1. Christ knows what he'll ask for if we win a fucking trophy !! Scatman TaylorJ
  2. Raya fluffs it again . Gordon!!! You'd have thought he'd been shite all night the way some have carried on
  3. It is late and rash but it's not a red. Arteta will be made up as he has something to whine about
  4. I had a chat with a now former Newcastle player a few years ago (who I won't name) and he said our crowd could really terrify some of our own players but when we're at our best and then team's playing well it just kills the opposition.
  5. Burn's a Land Rover Botman's a Rolls Royce
  6. Cracking first half. Really great team performance. Half wondering if some of our recent defensive woes in the league has been because we've been working on the back 5 for this game ? Tonali doing his level best to bring the physicality is vital with big Joe being out .
  7. Trippier's first half has been worth more to us than any supposed 4 million from abroad
  8. Where's the pic with the fucking lines like ? Every other game it's shown .
  9. He was awful for us . Though that brief period when he took over immediately post Keegan and started some games with Tino, Les and Shearer upfront saw some great football. If memory serves the Forest game was the pinnacle of that with Barton having a stormer as well.
  10. Odegaard is such a difference maker for Arsenal . Hope he's worn out for Wednesday.

    Joe Willock

Give them an hour in a locked room with Big Joe.
  12. If the report is right and at the end of the season Galatasaray are willing to come back in then that's the time to do the deal. We've not the biggest squad in terms of numbers or quality. The sales of Kelly and Miggy make good financial sense but it's a slight gamble with Miggy's sale. In defence Botman's only just back from what used to be career ending injury and Lascelles isn't near to full fitness yet. Also the leadership Trippier has brought off the field is going to be key in the run in, especially with our current inconsistency and with a potential cup final if we get past Arsenal I've a feeling we're going to need him.
  13. Great sale. Covered the weakness in the squad of Botman and lascelles being long term injured but is nowhere near good enough to be in contention ahead of them. Also not good enough to get in at full back. Surely this means there's at least one player incoming though ?
  14. He's had decent spells before and then regressed. At the start of the season he was absolutely awful and was huge flaw in the side but as the other parts started to find form Murphy did too and now with Tonali in the midfield he seems to be playing at a higher level than he ever has. Isak and Jacob as mentioned seem to dovetail perfectly. The key is sustaining this form. The fact he played well today after a poor performance last week is very encouraging.
  15. There's a real lack of top quality strikers in world football at the moment. Even if it's from the point of view of we can sell him for even more money in a few years time a new contract is essential .
  16. Were Leicester's ? Or Everton's? Chelsea's haven't been and the talk is they are negotiating a fine for further breaches . Haven't Forest benefited far in excess of their 4 point deduction ? Manchester United were given a 40 million allowance by the league to allow themselves to swerve a possible breach. The clubs who've breached have either got away with it or largely avoided serious long term consequences.
  17. Are Man City's owners going to removed if they're found guilty of their charges ?
  18. Fuck it why don't we just breach Psr then let our army of lawyers and accountants tie it all up in the courts/circumnavigate the consequences with clever tricks ? Seems to work for several other clubs and Nick DeMarco's proven able to box rings round these twats that run the Premier League
  19. Every single Manchester United manager since Ferguson has said this that and the other about the style and about rebuilding the squad. They all espouse having to learn a different way of playing then they start having a few bad results and it's ffs stick in the channels for the quick lads. I like Amorim, he seems an honest and genuine guy but that club is currently a basket case and some of the most experienced coaches in world football have struggled in the past decade or so. That dressing room seems poisonous. They need to do what Arsenal did with Arteta which is back him as they move the high earners who aren't performing out and they rebuild around talented younger players like Amad.
