£25m according to a few on here.
-
Becasue he's barely kicked a ball in two years due to injury.
-
Nobody is paying a fee for Targett. Best case scenario we give him away, but more likely he goes out on loan and we will have to subsidize half his wage.
-
If the "experts" in our medical dept think he'll need till near the end of the year to get it right again then we should not risk him before then.
-
Insert Benny Hill confused gif here.
-
No idea. Is his injury that bad? If so it was another masterstroke by our medical team and/or management to throw him back in when he was clearly miles away from being fit.
-
Provided he can get/stay fit in the summer there's no way we should be selling him. The gap in ability between him and Longstaff/Anderson is a chasm.
-
He'll go to whoever offers him the most money. He will have zero affinity to prefer us over Chelsea or Man U, no matter what "vision" he is sold by the club. Money talks.
-
Player goes to the club offering the biggest wage shocker, that's never happened before.
-
One away win each against Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea and City in the PL era is beyond absymal. No matter how good or bad we've been in the past they all seem to turn it on against us when it matters, whilst the likes of Palace and Brighton often seem to catch them on off days.
-
It's become a top 8 now instead of a top 6. The same teams but maybe a different order to this season from 2nd-8th. City will win it again obviously.
-
Yes, I'd rather we were not in it, I made that clear. However Man U will be in the EL, which is a more prestigious competition, plus it means they'll play more games than us next season and therefore more oportunities for him to play. Not forgetting also that they'll probably offer him higher wages as well.
-
He's 32, and most keepers nowadays decline rapidly past 35. His age does not bother me atm, it's likely his dodgy shoulder is the reason we're looking for a replacement.
-
More or less what we'd make selling Almiron and Wilson.
-
I think Man U just became favourites for his signature.
-
Should change this one to "has a silver lining"
-
This will be the funniest post posted on here all day.
-
What? The offside one? No one to blame bar ourselves for not qualifying.
-
Really? I assume he's capable of time travel then?
-
But it is though. Dubravka is 35 and he's dropped off a cliff. How many number one keepers in the PL are older than that? Lloris got fucked off from Spurs in his mid 30s and had been shite for a couple of seasons before that. The days of your Shiltons and Buffons playing at the top level till they got to 40 are gone. De Gea is 33 but no one seems to want him either, even on a free.
-
One eye towards the future? He's an established top class keeper for gods sake.
-
How? We paid £10m for him and he's two years older now with a suspect shoulder.
-
You don't spend £35m on a back up keeper.
