3-2 in the Everton Spurs game

Just a bad day at the office. Bad decision making, poor passing (the amount of misplaced passes today was insane), stupid mistakes, and a very good team at the other end of it taking advantage of it all. One of those days. We’ll bounce back.

0% chance he leaves in January. (From the horses mouth) As has been mentioned, he came off because midway through the first half he felt some discomfort in his quad. Just precautionary I think.

Isn’t the Redheugh Bridge due some major structural work in the next few years (due to this concrete issue)? If so, the arena site would be a shitshow.
-
He’s 100% our player of the season so far. One of my favourite players to ever wear our shirt. ❤️

Is Arteta really whinging about the ball in his post match presser? 😁

That was absolutely incredible. The perfect, absolutely perfect, away performance. I love this manager and this team more than any team we’ve had since I started supporting us back in 1993. Truly outstanding.

I think we SHOULD win today but it’s still a difficult game… any away game is… and as always, I’d be happy with a point. -

He did say basically that exact sentence mid way through the interview. -

Outstanding that… great performances all over the pitch, but for me, yet again, Lewis Hall is proving an absolute bargain! -
My best mate is a Forest fan and really likes Elanga. Not the most exciting signing, but he's got plenty of raw talent.

I’m not blaming Isak. But if he taps the ball in the net to make it 3-2 (and makes it 2-2 in the Chelsea game) the table looks a lot different. Those are inexcusable moments that Howe has no control over, same as he doesn’t have control over some dreadful passes to gift them two goals (and Livepool two goals on Wednesday). I just don’t see how sacking our best manager in 20 years is in any way the solution. He needs backing.

Barnes, Tonali (missing for a season), Livramento and Hall (plus a few frees)? We’ve massively stagnated in the playing staff, and it’s showing badly. We need 2-3 high quality Isak level signings… fresh faces. Genuinely don’t believe Howe is the issue (to warrant changing manager) when Isak dallies on an open goal (again), three of the four goals are absolute gifts from dogshit passes / bad defending.

Give over man. It’s the least he deserves.

Good result and most importantly good performance, bar a few shaky moments.
-
That’s absolute bullshit that. Perfectly good goal ruled out.

1. Isn’t true. We made bids for Thiaw earlier in the summer. 2. We did… but we’d been speaking with Forest back and forth over him since May. Don’t know for sure if there were other bids made in that time, but there was a lot of dialogue between the clubs.

Just so you know, Barnes picked up a very minor knock in training last week, hence him not starting today.

Agreed on Bruno and Isak, but I thought Big Jo was really good. -

Weird one that one. Felt like we were completely in control for the vast majority of the game, with 3 or 4 really good chances… somehow managed to miss them all. Brighton had 1 (or maybe two) moments all game, and win. Really frustrating but we played pretty well I thought. -
Excellent performance. Should be at least 1 up. Need to make it count in the second half.
