  1. My best mate is a Forest fan and really likes Elanga. Not the most exciting signing, but he's got plenty of raw talent.
  2. I’m not blaming Isak. But if he taps the ball in the net to make it 3-2 (and makes it 2-2 in the Chelsea game) the table looks a lot different. Those are inexcusable moments that Howe has no control over, same as he doesn’t have control over some dreadful passes to gift them two goals (and Livepool two goals on Wednesday). I just don’t see how sacking our best manager in 20 years is in any way the solution. He needs backing.
  3. Barnes, Tonali (missing for a season), Livramento and Hall (plus a few frees)? We’ve massively stagnated in the playing staff, and it’s showing badly. We need 2-3 high quality Isak level signings… fresh faces. Genuinely don’t believe Howe is the issue (to warrant changing manager) when Isak dallies on an open goal (again), three of the four goals are absolute gifts from dogshit passes / bad defending.
  4. Give over man. It’s the least he deserves.
  5. Good result and most importantly good performance, bar a few shaky moments.
  6. That’s absolute bullshit that. Perfectly good goal ruled out.
  7. I think we’ve played quite well like. Not sure what game you guys are watching.
  8. 1. Isn’t true. We made bids for Thiaw earlier in the summer. 2. We did… but we’d been speaking with Forest back and forth over him since May. Don’t know for sure if there were other bids made in that time, but there was a lot of dialogue between the clubs.
  9. Just so you know, Barnes picked up a very minor knock in training last week, hence him not starting today.
  10. Agreed on Bruno and Isak, but I thought Big Jo was really good.
  11. Weird one that one. Felt like we were completely in control for the vast majority of the game, with 3 or 4 really good chances… somehow managed to miss them all. Brighton had 1 (or maybe two) moments all game, and win. Really frustrating but we played pretty well I thought.
  12. Excellent performance. Should be at least 1 up. Need to make it count in the second half.
  13. And as of August that was true. They were still living together and at the Southampton game they both seemed very much together. Obviously that’s now moved on.
  14. I mean… I told you that months ago 😜
  15. I thought we were outstanding from start to finish today, barring 10 mins after City’s goal where we lost composure. Great performance all round.
  16. Dreadful news. Wishing him all the best, and wishing a full recovery. Puts everything into perspective a bit.
  17. Massively disagree that injuries papered over the cracks. We had some good to excellent performances last season, with injuries too, amongst the painful performances across December / January. From memory we played well to excellent in decent chunks of all of these games… - Villa at home - much of Liverpool at home before and awful final 20 - City at home in LC - Sheffield Utd away - Burnley home - Palace home - Paris home and away - Man Utd away LC - Arsenal home - Chelsea home - Man Utd home - Fulham home - City home (despite eventually losing) - Sunderland away - Villa away - Wolves home - Everton home (then enter Paul Dummett) - West Ham home second half - Fulham away - Spurs home - Sheffield Utd home - Burnley away - Brentford away This season something different is happening… either we’re just not up to speed yet (which is a common Howe start to the season) or something just hasn’t worked in training / something has changed in training. Bunce’s influence perhaps leading to less intensity?
  18. City were absolutely pish in that second half like. Didn’t deserve anything.
  19. City are fucking boring to watch like.
  20. Great run by Murphy. Great finish by Barnes.
  21. I will say mind, I think Bruno has been easily one of our worst 3 performers all season. Needs to seriously up his game.
  22. Absolutely dire this. Our energy levels are all off like.
