  1. I don't know how many times it has to be said, but Eddie isn't "refusing to drop Burn". He's made it clear in every press conference for the last few weeks that Hall is not ready to start games. If Hall starts, it increases the risk of re-injury, which Eddie would also be lambasted for.
  2. I still think he'll come good. What won't help, though, is fans getting on his back. Lots of noticeable groans in the stadium last night which just doesn't help anyone.
  3. Elanga, as poor as he's been so far, clearly has raw attributes that give him a high ceiling. Forest fans (including my best mate) adamant that he's a very gifted player... we're just not seeing it yet. Patience.
  4. You can watch him say it on this video. Just sounds like he doesn't want to bullshit anyone and say he'll be here for 10 years when no one knows what will happen...
  5. Or, you can accept that no one gets everything right all the time, all teams go through good and bad patches, and we’re just in a bit of a sticky patch (although I could have sworn we just won 3 in a row). He’ll get it right… he always does. For me, there’s not much else to say. Great manager and great team having an inconsistent season. Not the end of the world.
  6. They didn’t, like. Ultimately we were deserved winners and should have won by more, but it was a disjointed performance.
  7. He played on the left for the majority of the game yesterday... 🤷‍♂️
  8. Happy with a point. Excellent defensively. Controlled the game relatively well. Just nowt going forward.
  9. I think we've played relatively well all round apart from a lack of cutting edge. Fresh legs in the second half and we can definitely nick a win.
  10. I thought he had a decent enough game. Some good, some not so. That chance in the second half would have been some goal. Also, his wife gave birth to their second baby less than 48 hours ago, and he likely wouldn’t have started this game had Gordon been available. So there are some mitigating factors.
  11. No one’s claimed they hate him as a person. Wanting him out, not agreeing with how he’s gone about things, and losing trust is massively different to actively hating someone.
  12. Also, in reply to this, no one’s pretending to be anything. Everything I post is in good faith with good intentions, and is from people I interact with regularly (some within the club, some very close to players, some within the industry as a whole). Not everything turns out exactly as I’m told, sure, but I don’t have a day to day input into the inner workings of NUFC (sadly).
  13. Sure… there’s having a different view, but then there’s opening every thread and reading over blown, over dramatic, and ridiculously negative reactions to every single fucking thing… ”the fee is too high” ”the fee is too low” ”we’ve been bent over” ”the owners don’t care” ”heads need to roll for this transfer window” ”omg he liked a post” ”omg he said goodbye to his friend” It’s relentless, and fucking miserable to read, especially when you consider it’s against the backdrop of a club that is actually at its highest point in generations, showing ambition, winning things, with potential the best squad / depth we’ve ever had.
  14. Honestly lads, just take a fucking breath. A current player said goodbye and good luck to one of his best mates. Who gives a fuck? The emotional age on this board must be about 12.
  15. How do you know why he’s liking it? Is he liking it because he’s his mate and he’s happy that the turmoil is over, or is he liking it because he’s finally gone? And why does it actually matter? Of course you’re within your rights to react however you want to… I just think you’re wasting your energy on something that doesn’t matter in the slightest.
  16. Oh give over man. It’s a completely innocent like on a post. Fucking drama out of everything on here, I swear.
  17. Two ways to look at those likes, isn’t there… 1) liking that he’s finally gone. 2) liking that their mate is happy after clearly a turbulent time. Neither are a particularly bad look.
  18. No, I think that’s Twitter bollocks personally, although I’ve mentioned before that one player, who’s not particularly popular around these parts, showed some sympathy towards him, but even that’s apparently now changed.
