I think he has to try really, really hard to play the correct way. And even then, he breaks down in phases, losing concentration and positional discipline. Think I'm revelling a bit in this, which will piss people off. I've said for a long time that we could be a better side without him. Obviously, it has taken a Howe revelation and £200m worth of players, but I think we are definitely at the point where him not being available is not an issue. Under Bruce, yeah, we needed his bit of magic. And yes, he absolutely has the ability to take teams apart - like the Man City game - but he is nowhere near consistent enough.
