A nice last gasp winner in a thrilling 4-3 victory in February to start their slide down the table would be nice.

Just had a look on RAWK and surprisingly enough we are getting no credit, apparently we never laid a glove on then in the first half despite it being their worst performance since before Klopp took over and we only came away with a point due to the performance of their keeper and the ref. Also Anthony Gordon is a cheating, diving twat, They mustn't be old enough to remember Kenny Dalglish who perfected the art of diving for pens.

p.s not having a go at the majority on here, but the absolute knobs on X

Realistically we need players who will improve the team, we can't ,or not allowed to afford these players, so we are looking next level down and are being priced out. There is not one player who has moved in this window that I think would have made a massive difference and of all the players that we have been linked with, in my opinion, the only ones who may have improved us are Guehi (probably) and Chiesa (possibly). We've been shite, mostly, since I went to my first game in 1970, so I am just excited to watch another season with decent players. If all you want is shiny new players then I would suggest you fuck off and support Chelsea. so 3/10 for me.

Before I start I am no longer a season ticket holder. I gave mine up after SBR's 1st season and I'm over the moon to get a ticket through my membership. I did however go to almost every game from about 76/77 until then. Can I just say that people moaning about 'old cunts' attending the match that if it wasn't for them going in the pissing down rain in the old Gallowgate with no roof when we were 2nd division cannon fodder with gates of less than 16000 that they would probably have no team to support/

For me it will always be a trophy, I was alive when we won the Fairs Cup, but have no memory of it. Started going in the early 70s, was a regular or season ticket holder until Sir Bobbys second season, a bit more of an occasional attendee since. But being oldish I just want to see a captain of NUFC with a trophy in his hand before I can't.

Strange to think that Man Utd and Spurs supporters will be hoping we win so England can get a fifth Champions League place.

Your own football ability - how good are/were you?

Was a canny fullback at school, in the days when your job was to kick the tricky winger within about 30 seconds. Unfortunately the lad who played right back was a cracking player so I always got stuck at left back and not having the ability to kick the ball more than 5 yards with my left foot all I could do was kick it out of play. I did however get goal of the season with my only ever goal, I won the ball and started running up the field ( the rest of the team stopped, cause it was me). I got about 30 Yards from goal ran out of steam and hit the ball as hard as i could, mishit it and managed to chip it over the keeper into the top corner. -
Kenny Wharton sat on the ball vs Watford

I bought a OFI top when I was in Crete from a ' Specialist market stall', signed by the full squad the season they won the league. It wasn't until about 5 years later that I found out they had never won the league, It wasn't their badge and they didn't play in green.

Ah the Asics kit, loved it and it is the only home kit that I ever bought, the only other one I had was one my Dad bought for me in the mid 70's, it had the 'new' badge on it 75/76 or 76/77 ?
