I get that, I really do. As an analogy, its like music, each to their own taste. Some prefer Heavy Metal, others Ballads. I felt it inferred I was a misogynist - far from it - I am married to a woman after all. I was in one sense venting my frustration regarding my general experience of the match, and don't feel the need to expand on that. There are polar opinions already expressed on the board, some I align with, others I don't. In any case, whatever I said would be buried under the sheer pace and volume of comments. What I do find objectionable, is being addressed as a "third person," It's rude, pure and simple. I tend not to post a great deal, in fact hardly at all, however I have "lurked" here for some years. I mostly enjoy reading some comments, but it has to be said, there is a tendency to jump all over a poster when the opportunity arises, usually by one clique or another, looking for a reaction as an excuse to push an agenda for some sport. Sorry, but I don't want to engage. There are some individuals, who I think to myself, "What a knacker" and would not wish to associate with, but there you go, horses for courses and all that.

I couldn't tolerate either the tone or the accent. No different to when Carragher for example assaulting my ears. I look for alternative means wherever possible.
