Koul nearly scored a late equaliser, against, eventual World Cup winners, Argenfuckingtina in the last 16. Where's he now These kids need to learn their trade for consistency alone. -

GB News are gonna trial a new show called Gammonbox, apparently. Loads of old white men watch things with Gary Liniker in and are filmed necking cans of Stella in between hockling on their tv screens with apoplectic, unbridled rage.
-
Gogglebox is them reviewing/critiquing a programme. Watching that isn't like watching them, watching that instead of watching the cunt yourself

This. Granted I'm partial to the odd "Fans Reaction" compilations, when we win but I do think "why the fuck does anyone watch these things in game timr? World's fooked

Unsurprisingly you totally and deliberately miss represent what I posted. I've been going since the 70s. Some great crack as and when. Certainly things, right across the board, were different then, like pubs shutting in the afternoon. Goes without saying the Keegan eras were immense, as was the atmosphere, but we were winning regularly as well. So there is that. You lot spent the entire Ashley years sat on your hands. I know, I was there. Was absolutely silent. You keep plugging away tho sunshine.

The atmosphere, or lack of, has little to do with "tourists" or "jonney-come-lateley" bunch. This is just thrown around by the people disenfranchised from their old route of getting ticket with an axe to grind about that circumstance. Was fine getting tickets from Simon or Keith, back in the day, when it suited etc etc but the club's taking more responsibility for away attendees, it seems. What people need to accept, because it's true, is that we're no big shakes in the volume/support stakes. We are when it's going great and definitely better than most grounds but I sat in there for years and, for the most part, it was a fucking morgue. Last two years, not so much. Go figure. Since the ballot system, not without it's many issues, there's been some terrific atmospheres. Zero credit given to any newbies but when it's quieter it's all on them. Funny how that grafts.

Granted he lost the ball in the middle of the park which, ultimately, led to the free kick conversion BUT... In real time I said Schar needed to get over to Sterling asap but he hesitated because Palmer was behind him. If he had Trippier wouldn't have needed to put his hand on Sterling giving the little prick the chance to dive. If Schar had done so he could've narrowed the angle for Sterling to subsequently pass to Palmer whilst Bruno (iirc) was steaming in on him. There was still plenty to do.

Seen the stick Thiago Silva got from Chelsea fans "too old" etc and Ashley Young giving away a penalty just now I looked at a decrepit 11 Neto (Bournemouth 34) Ward (Palace 34) Silva (Chelsea 39) Ream (Fulham 36) Young (Everton 38) Ritchie (Toon 34) Lallana (Brighton 35) Milner (Brighton 37) William (Fulham 35) Rodriguez (Burnley 34) Antonio (West Ham 33) 4-4-2
-
Either way. Martial puts his foot into Young. Young gave him the chance.

I like the bloke but he was definitely the pantomime villain yesterday. Dived for the free kick which, it has to be said, was despatched with aplomb then spent the rest of the game being an arse. Noticed at the end when all their players were on the pitch he was sat in the dugout on his own. Looked well pissed off/in a huff Also the Joelinton header? Ref gave a foul, no? Would he have had the minerals to stick with that call if BigJow had buried the cunt liked he should've -
When I read all these platitudes I like to search back to when we were linked with him. Shit, apparently

It wasn't the PL that speculated on "X's" ? value and the amount they could've reclaimed. It was Everton Everton WERE in dialogue with the PL over the whole time frame and fully conversant with the demands/expectations required of them. They chose to ignore.

Your own football ability - how good are/were you?

Reminiscing again. Played school football, decent. Played for the camp B team at RAF Abingdon Played 5 a side for the watch, station and Fire Brigade team at Eldon Square. The latter in goal where I received a sine-die for kicking a door after being sent off. Played loads of sat/sun football for Rutherford, The Westfield, Hussar, Dudley etc etc. One of the reasons I miss The Pink to read the Alphabet leagues. Also enjoyed watching the bairn play sometimes involving a round, trip to York on a Sunday morning just for that. Watched the nephew's and great nephew's as well. It's a great sport and great crack if you're in a team and all pals. Deffo better if you're getting 100k a week for it but there is alot to be said for just being involved at any level. -
Just started watching Britain's Biggest Football Scandal By rights City should be in the Conference next season.

I've got an abiding memory of playing for the school, Kelvin Grove, circa 1972. Can't recall exactly where the pitch was but it was away from the school on a bitterly cold, windswept Bensham field. Absolutely pissing down. Was like the scene from Kes and I was Casper. Got hit on the ear by the ball. Stung like fuck for weeks. For some reason it sticks in my mind that neither parent were watching so I'm assuming some others were. Moved to Berwick where I played with Trevor Steven. Have I mentioned that before ??? Played loads of 5 a side tournaments at all the village fetes with the school team. We won one once so was very late home and my Dad went ballistic. Never watched me once though. The wanker. -
I thought it said petrol
