They lack self awareness and live in their own bubble. It's about to go pop, well it did last night. Sounds like the small time lot down the road also

What year did all that FTM rubbish even start and how?

They go on about how Durham is on the banks of the wear and is "theirs". Then, without batting an eyelid, also claim Gateshead as "theirs" despite it being on the banks of the tyne. South shields too. It seem you should only support Newcastle if you actually live in Newcastle City itself according to them lot. But to support sun'lun you can be from anywhere. They're f***ing mentally ill. Case in point, this thread... loads of them discussing how they live in/around/on outskirts of Newcastle, yet still support 'the lads'. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/northumberland-tyneside-based-safc-fans.959881/ The lads been cloggers like grant leadbitter, lee Barry cattermole and Barrly Just a bunch of wannabe hardmen cloggers. Do they not feel embarrassed or any shame at all at there "legends" and Calibre of player they have had compared to us. 100+ European games to there 4 but European football means nothing. Imagine if that stat was reversed we would never hear the end of it I think they have only finished top 10 in 3 seasons since the 60s? . We could beat in the last decade and probably triple it in the last 25 years Massive massive lack of self awareness and bitterness. Can't be another club in the country who doesn't know there place in the football pyramid. Also even us at the moment are everything they aspire to be, PL football mid table finishes, top manager, full stadium. They just can't see it for hatred

From page 18. It only works one way. Any Sunderland fan from outside of the area are salt of the earth, for when the going gets tough, sticking with us. Any NUFC fans from outside of the area are bandwagon jumping, glory hunting, Keegan adoring f***ing w*****s, ex SAFC fannies that when the going got tough, they got going. . That Wearside fella underwaterspunkbubble, being a prime example. Not sure if this is a p*ss take but knowing RTG, he's probably deadly serious. Another example of how they make stuff up, repeat it so many times that it becomes a mackem fact. The bit in bold being the funniest bit. They really do believe that everyone supported Sunderland before Keegan came along don't they? Mental weird people. Glory hunting mags

Howay city

Exactly that. They would be fine with 5th in league one if we were 6th in league one. Such a small time club who just are known and define themselves on there hatred of the mags.

We have a really good foundation to build on next season. What if say Rafa left but then a good manager with a good reputation and record was hired? What would the reaction be then? Obviously myself and everyone would be gutted Rafa left and it would show how bothered the club are about progressing but another good manager with the team we have now and a couple of good signings could still easily be top 10 next year. A decent start and it could be quickly forgotten about. How would people feel about going to matches etc then Dubravka New RB/WB Schar Lascelles Lejeune New LB/WB Longstaff Ki Almiron Perez Rondon Still top 10 material under a good manager. I was massively disillusioned from 2014 under the Ashley regime but Rafa got me back in then August to February this season I had zero interest but now I am back on board and want to still be next season. Or is it purely a case of no Rafa no party?

I don't get if Co Durham is such a red and white stronghold and everyone is a massive lads fan why the stadium of plight is always half empty whilst SJP is always full

Leeds Derby West Brom Villa West Brom are such a boring club and only went down 2 years ago and Villa are Villa

Ah just seen Henderson mentioned already well done as I couldn't get even 3

There are far more defenders who’ve maybe scored a goal or two over 10+ seasons than there are attacking players with that kind of longevity. True

Sturridge Walcott Ramsey are correct Then someone who only scored there first goal of this season last month

Well, we are going to find out. Lots of decent positions are going to be open in spain this summer. Sevilla, Betis and Valencia are all probably going to be looking for new managers. Actually, having seen Rafa's tv interviews, I think Neville might be onto something. Normally Rafa would be raging about the refereeing decisions, but seems like he said nothing tonight. His talk was all about the fans. Not like him at all, normally he would have a lot more to say about decisions which robbed his team of points even in veiled language. He might be happy that liverpool won deep down, win win situation for him tonight tbh. Naaa

I may be 17 beers deep in Paris but I absolutely adore Rafael Benitez
