Can someone give me some other great Newcastle assists in the past?
I'm sure that's the best I've seen live but I need some comparison as my mind is blank

Needs to cut out those aimless lumps forward, like.
He shanked it mate - Jamie Redknapp probably.

Looked like Woodman carried it out of the box, before going back in to kick it too.

Been saying this for years.
Much prefer the Semi-Finals to be at a neutral club ground, so when you do reach the Final, it seems a big deal when you get to play at Wembley.
Agree with the sentiment, but now that we have FFP it gives unfair (sure not a lot) extra income to the hosting club.

Jesus and Zinchenko's reactions there tell me that has broken them and their season. Fingers crossed even less chance they've fuck all to play for when they visit SJP.
Thirty minutes to go, and Jesus looks like he's crying that the title is gone. Ridiculous.

They were saying on The Athletic podcast that in an ideal world they’d sell them before 30 June as they can put it on this seasons books which helps them massively. Especially the homegrown players as selling them is pure profit in accounting terms.
However Lukaku coming back on 300k per year is going to be magnificently funny as there’ll be no next to no takers that will pay anywhere near what they spent on him or match his wages.
There can't be many teams that it would help their own financial situation to get a new player on the books this financial year rather than next, unless they can do so at a worthwhile discount. If it's true, it will spur a fire sale.

I hate how the BBC Football home page prioritizes the leagues in the Live Scores bit top right. I wish you could customize that to default to whichever leagues are playing that you care about. I've no interest in Ross County vs Aberdeen compared to Boro v Norwich.

No it’s not.
96 isn’t even the biggest bottle job. Man U were something like 7 points clear with 5 games to go and lost it to City. Lost to Wigan. City. 4-4 draw against Everton did them in.Not the PL, but Brighton in 2017. 7 clear with 3 to play

Maybe i'm just a bit thick...but can anyone explain to me why Joelinton's goal was an OG? I mean wasn't it just an attempted save that goes through his legs?
It was going away from goal (slight pull back) and he's not Rashford / Kane.

IThere was the SAS with Sutton and shearer so perhaps we now have the WI with Wilson and Isak?
Obviously missing something, as all I can think of is Womens' Institute that my 98 year old aunt still walks to each week. Not that there's anything wrong with that, howay the lasses!

Only pass Redknapp ever made that could compare, was the one that worked on Louise.

The story if Luton got promoted would be amazing - relegated to the Conference jut fourteen years ago, and stayed there for five seasons. I've not heard anything bad about Nick Owen, so would be chuffed for him.

I see Hull's equalizer came in the 98th minute, shame
The penalty was given around 94:50, and even without VAR it took the ref two and a half minutes to get everyone outside the box.

It's just a jump to the left
And then a stepover to the r-r-r-r-ight
Put's his hands on his hips
Isak's scoring tooooonnnnight
But it's the pelvic thrust
Into Joe Willock's fa-ay-ay-ay-ace
Let's do the toon warp again

Sending offYet Fernandez didn't even get a yellow for the ankle stamp on Maddison. Since Bruno got a three game ban (justified), they seem to have been declared "just part of the game".

Aye. Would usually want them to get battered and would always root for Liverpool in this derby. But it doesn’t help us.
So fuck Liverpool, on this occasion. I hope they get stuffed and a couple of suspensions thrown in for good measure
Given the opposition, maybe VAR will finally catch up with Fabinho.

However, even though he knew Man City were after him, Ake was throwing himself in full blood in the last games of that season for us. I still remember him going almost beyond full stretch to win a ball in what looked like a challenge that would kill his hamstring and possibly cost him his move. That's all Fraser needed to do. Commit on the pitch and he could have walked away. He chose not to.
Not excusing doing it all season, but regarding the restart Ake was still under contract for at least the next year. If Fraser had snapped his leg, would Bournemouth had paid him beyond his contract? Given the bad blood, I'm sure it would have leaked from the club that they had offered him say 12 months insurance in case of injury. I totally get why he did that, but still didn't like we signed him. Mixed emotions there

Ironically I reckon Man City have evidence of the PL turning a blind eye to what they were doing for a few years as it was all well and good for the PL brand and Man City bringing the best players to the League.
Cross my palms with Silva as it were.

Yeah, but pulling up trees on the pitch for us would be just as valid as cutting them down.

Looked a complete dive, even on first replay, but that zoom in ESPN+ showed (don't know what channel it's on in the UK) the ref made the right decision to award the pen.
