  1. Dunno. Dunno what to believe, but if this is true then we can infer that the group Caulkin knows about haven't made a bid. Unless it's been sat on the table all this time. You'd tend to think Caulkin was making it up but the other side of the story is from a liar who pays a lie making machine to lie for him. Safe bet is it was never for sale so it wouldn't matter who was interested, made up people, not made up people, its all the same. Just so many lies around the club.
  2. How ever many years it would it take for a new club to surpass SD FC. (A successful boycott would mean exponential growth for one as the other shrinks). It would take a lot less than forever and a lot less than Ashley's life span. (natural life span anyway).
  3. But didn't have proof of funds apparently £38bn - £100bn - canny big difference, you'd think you'd know which it was. Sheik Mansour has unlimited wealth but funnily enough he didn't like getting jerked around by a lotto lout like Ashley. Bought a very similar club for less than half the price from a WILLING seller and without any bullsh*t shennanigans. In Mike's vernaculor Its like I can afford to buy a tube of crisps for £10 but I'm hardly going to pay it when I get it somewhere else for a fraction.
  4. It wasn't 7month ago he sat in a TV studio and said he was hopeful a sale could be reached imminently. Now he's on about owning the club forever. Sadly I believe the latter and its time everybody realises it - he's not going of his own accord, ever!!! that means this club will be sh*t for the rest of your life and by design. The sort of people that just accept that I couldn't have less respect for. My only attachment are these efforts to get him out and hoped effect of the enivitable (matter of time) relegation combined with the enivtable not coming straight back.
  5. Wise signing. Good old boys system again.
  6. A pretty damn relentless one though in the teeth off overwhelming derision and disagreement from his fellow humans. Takes a special type of character to carry on with his s**** in the face of that. It’s either shill or dipshit, one or the other. Its not just here though, this Seymour is just the latest example. There's people with multiple user names occupy these places in support of Ashley. If they're not paid for that amount of effort and time, they are disturbingly sad (so on second thoughts, could be a mackem). Not so much this guy, but there's one that posts almost as if he wants to get caught its that stupid, replete with anti-Shearer anti-Rafa, pro Ashley comments. Where’s that? On the Mags pages. The regulars/net savvy types have researched it and found out a couple brothers from Manchester post under numerous different user-names, all with the same style. And lots of new names have popped up with pro-Ashley anti-boycott articles all of a sudden.

  8. Nobody can be sad enough to be as regular as they are across the Newcastle forums and fan-sites for free, surely to goodness
  9. Didn't follow as I was rather hoping we'd seen the last of him - but it seemed like he didn't pull up any trees at Forest, and if you can't pull up trees at Forest where can you?
  10. The forum equivalent of the masked assailants attacking pro-democracy/anti-government protesters in Hong Kong. The black ops this club deploys needs to be exposed, its sickening, a freudian volunteering of guilt that you'd even need to do it and cannot be allowed to be acceptable in football. If the Oyston's had the money and a PR machine. This club, our club, has literally spent more on disinformation campaigns against the fans (by extension against the club) than on players. Absolutely disgraceful.
  11. tbf - that is a clear violation of what is apparently a black and white rule so it's easy to crucify them for. What Fatty is doing is not technically violating any of their rules is it? Not with the sly wording of the rules but he's in clear breach of the 'integrity' of the league by being the one club that isn't trying its best, in fact trying its absolute least. As well as regarding the line about investing PL money into "quality players and stadium improvements/new stadiums" - yes technically he's doing that, but really, obviously he's not.
  12. He's got us here like. Means we can't go on about how the ground hasn't had a lick of paint in years. That was the priority of the numerous charges against him and the club. More money spent on new signage, paint and hired goons than players so far this summer.
  13. Its gone like they can't be bothered to keep up the BS now. Without saying it, presuming everybody (bar the media of course) knows the score.
  14. Its the lack of questioning the legitimacy of it, challenging/finding out why that worries me. Some owner can pretend a takeover is happening numerous times and journalists don't investigate why it never happens. Still gets the benefit of the doubt (either through incompetence or corruption) from most of them when nearly every one of us had doubts the moment we heard it mentioned, without any sources or journalistic credentials.
  15. Has anybody else seen the Huddersfield sponsorship story? The FA are getting in touch with them because of the size of the sponsorship on their shirt. Ashley can do what he likes though.
  16. Yep. Spoke well and still got stuck in. Could have been more venomous but there's a fine line. I'm happy with that contribution.
  17. Its like they're sticking it to Rafa still by playing out of favour/dross players. With these vindictive c**nts and this fake-football-club it isn't even fanciful to claim that.
  18. I agree with that Caulkin piece almost entirely. Bruce unfortunately has brought this on himself with a shambolic lifestyle choice for the sake of checking something off his bucket list. There's a lingering feeling that Bruce, like McLaren before him, is in the same circles as the Ashley cult and that's the worst thing you could be. He's going to fail. There is not possibilty of anything else. Attention needs to remain on Ashley and not be distracted by managers (as with Pardew).
  19. Jesus christ He copied and pasted that into the section in the job application that asks you to list 'any other relevant experience' and he's golden. Armageddon would be better than this. Arm-a-geddon as far away as i can from that sh*t show.
  20. Was just thinking that photo with Carver and his mates scoffing pies in the canteen is going to be relevant again soon. We'll have an updated version with Steve and his assistants soon! The football is going to be absolutely vile but the laughs we will have. Ah man. How f***ing close is he standing there, btw. Would despise him off that alone if I knew nothing else. He’s watching to make sure he’s got enough doner on his mixed kebab feast "Woah Woah Woah, easy with the salad there fella" Aye, can't risk missing out on cup final tickets and Champions League away games
  21. That's the essence of the 'integrity' of sport that was mentioned in the response to Chi, for me. He has killed the very essence of sport here. If one part of a contest is funded with the least possible amount of backing, not out of necessity but greed and they invaribly don't do well or compete, it defeats the whole concept. The victorious part as beaten what?! In tennis, they fine players for not trying.
  22. There's something wrong with that bloke. He asked the question on twitter during the Staveley farce of Ashley "do you really think he's making this up?". Why, when faced with two further examples, and two years later, is there no introspection of that very question. Never liked him from the time I heard him say, on the radio mind you (in 2008) "Look at the atmosphere". But growing to rather hate him now. I'd pity him if he's just a nerb but no level of thickness can explain professing to be a Newcastle fan and siding with Ashley/Wise
  23. I've just cheered a Labour leader for the first time ever. (Please lets not get into all that)
  24. I wish death on the f**ker. Best thing for it.
  25. There's wording from the PL/FA and government that isn't binding that he is blatantly in breach of. I'd like some word from those authorities, whether they condone or condemn it. If its the former then they're not fit or proper persons to be governing things. I paraphrase but there's an implication that money from the PL should be invested in "good quality players and improving stadium/training facilities/new stadiums" - all clearly not happening here. Then there's the "integrity" mentioned in the government departments response to Chi's questions. Which he is in total breach of as a business and football club owner. Endevouring the produce the least possible service for the most possible takings. Makes a mockery of the football authorities that they allow this to happen - a man using a club to blatantly take the p**s out of a clubs fans and enrich himself to same tune he damages that club. The distress its causing, fans wishing for failure, even death on their own clubs tells you something. Were trying our least, one notch less would be outright cheating - which defeats the integrity of sport entirely.
