  1. I think you're right to point out that they are volunteers, but that just makes wasting the limited time they can dedicate to the trust on "the pledge" even more frustrating. Two years spent planning something which pretty much has zero chance of success. I get that charities will benefit (at some future date that no one seems willing to commit to) and while that's admirable, it's really not the purpose of the pledge or indeed the Trust.
  2. Edwards losing his shit trying to reframe the Potter comparison on twitter.
  3. https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2021/09/steve-mcclaren-derby-county-27th-september-2021 To his credit he's stepped down voluntarily according to Derby in the hope of saving other jobs there.
  4. I'll be interested to see where the discussion goes after Wednesday. Certainly won't be having a dig about the outcome itself.
  5. That pretty much doesn't happen though does it, no matter how much abuse has been thrown at people who've generally been right all along so far.

  8. Unlike Bruce, at least McClaren has achieved some things in his managerial career.
  9. Nah, he's a nasty, dirty bastard. Fuck him.
  10. Sub forum would be better. To keep all of their little dramas in separate threads.
  11. Brighton and Potter can go a point clear at the top of the premier league table with a win at Palace on Monday night. Still, he needs to up his game to be better than Brucey according to Luke.
  12. Just like the "audience with Masters" thing. Which they completely wasted.
  13. Result was disappointing, but we're in a "first half performances business" now apparently.
  14. Reminder that this is how Steve thinks we played against leeds.
  15. Are Brentford in our mini league that Bruce talked about?
  16. As he definitely is tonight. Been absolutely terrible.
  17. We've done ok of late = no wins in seven games so far this season.
  18. "Our performance was terrific, we've done OK of late and haven't managed to get that first win. "The hardest part of the game is to score a goal, and that is a bit of mentality; you've got to go cold in front of goal." The hardest part is to score a goal, and that's why we played without a centre forward for 85 minutes.
  19. I know he's probably still getting up to speed again, but I'm enjoying watching van dijk getting the run around this season.
  20. We're going to have to do this line by line I fear. So, here we go You fucking what?
