Just might be a bad fit, I'd personally take the risk in the short term - even just as a lazy comparison, Howe got the best football out of ex-Arsenal, perma-crock Jack Wilshire, who played 27 times for them on a season long loan. A half season loan of Ramsay with the option to buy would be ideal imo.

Haven't seen a single thing to suggest Ramsay has a poor attitude, only the opposite. It would be a risk because of his injury record and because of his limitations, but one well worth taking on a short term contract because of how good his strengths are imo. Re his problems at Juve, Is Italian football training still very stringent and not tailored on a player-by-player basis? Can't imagine that helping him if so.

Really not sure it's any more common tbh, at SJP alone there were regular posts on here and in match reports on .com for years about it happening, some surviving, some dying. The change seems to be that matches stop when it happens now.

I don't know what Man United's aim is with their signings - I think Neville's speculated that they're signed with too much marketing in mind - but none of the players they've signed are bad, there just seems to be very little joined up thinking in terms of team cohesion.

I get the whole club over country thing, but that's a piss take really. It's the risk that comes with signing African players and it's unreasonable to expect players to pull out of playing for their country on that stage.
