The way we played vs Senegal and the lack of drama was probably my favourite Best/Favourite 'other' moment: Seeing Messi win the World Cup. Best and favourite Worst/Least favourite moment/anything: Qatar and particularly the self-excusing nonsense given by those in the media who obviously wanted to condemn but not miss out on any fun. My head not being able to grasp that there was a World Cup on and me subsequently forgetting matches were on. Where does this World Cup rank? Probably up there based on football and what I've heard about the matches I missed, but I can't ignore the 'wrong' feeling of it being on in December when it's snowing outside. 2014 will take some beating for me, not just the football but the carnival atmosphere

I think that's a little unfair. Uruguay and Chile were the only good teams to watch in that WC imo and everyone did set up in a way that made games boring vs Spain. They had David Villa and Torres then too so were much better on the eye when it clicked than in other years. They were great to watch in '08 and '12 too, so I'm happy to put the boringness of '10 down to other factors.

Felt exactly the same. Even at 2-0 and France being nowhere in it, I knew unless it was maybe 3-0 with 10 minutes left that it wasn't over. 2-2 and 3-3 were horrible considering how little France gave to the game. Honestly thought they weren't far away from Netherlands 2010 levels of undeserving

All things aside, never has a side deserved more by such a slim margin. France were shit, Mbappe bagging a hattrick in that was akin to Klose being the all time scorer, baffling.
