Just noticed a lad on Reddit saying that he managed to get in SC after being given the entire ground to choose from. The people working at the ticket office can actually be more helpful than their wider communication suggests.

Think the club are going a bit overboard on the fulsome thank yous as a strategic move. Distancing ourselves as far as possible from that cunt and what he did last summer, and showing perspective new signings how it can actually go if they sign with the thought of one day leaving for a bigger club.

Feel like anybody who goes to that is a bit mad really. I can’t see any appeal to it whatsoever.
-
Same here. They’re embarrassing man.

There’s also one in the Nick thread where he references his own goal. It’s all a bit sad but I’m sure he has a fulfilling life otherwise.

Find your obsession with Iraola’s appearance a bit weird tbh. Assume it’s a bit.

The last game being 2016 (a draw). The one after being that win.

What ten years would that be then?

You support Sunderland though

Worth noting that all these classy congratulations don’t amount to fuck all when it comes to them. As somebody from South Shields, I know what they do: They scuttle off like cowards when they’re shit and we’re good (which in my lifetime is most of the time), they don’t mention football. And, for all the gloom, we know that that will be the state of affairs again before too long. Just ask any gloating mackems if they bothered in league one- I know some did, but not a single one that I know

I found the CL campaign utterly boring- that’s not our fault, it’s the fault of the format- and sold most of the tickets I was beholden to buy for seventy something quid in the first place. Cup game at Villa was good and we were unlucky to draw City straight after that. League shit especially the derby games. Outside of the cups you could have slipped this one into the Ashley years and nobody would have noticed. Managed to shift my seat next to friends in the East Stand and enjoyed seeing them again at the match. After years of being dormant, the last few announcements from the club have given me cautious cause for optimism. Despite that we are still owned by cunts. 3/10.

It feels like, since that meeting and with the purchase of Leazes terrace, that there’s been some reinvestment of interest. I don’t follow the transfer rumours but I get the impression that there’s some interesting names being brought up? My hope is that there is somebody behind the scenes who has suddenly switched on and will be thinking hard right now about Eddie’s future.

Just needs to bow out. Mutual agreement, whatever. Absolutely no hard feelings and he’s mint, but it’s not working and it’s not going to suddenly start working.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26
Hovagod replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
Had a message about Murrayfield on the 12th August from NUST but can't see anything elsewhere. Has it been confirmed? -
Could we do weekends there and midweeks in Gateshead?
-
I heard about this from the official app sending me an alert, which I suppose is an indication of something, but couldn’t they just be looking to build some tacky hotels with the existing building?
-
Ah, see what you mean

As opposed to what they have been until this point?
