Selling Murphy would be ridiculous, he's worth far more to us as a squad player than what we would get by way of a likely lowish transfer fee. He's a still far better option than Elanga. And he's one of our own.

Wish they'd give him a lifetime ban for all the hockling. He is a vile repulsive man and such a bad example to all the kids. Half of every match is devoted to showing him hockling on the touchline, what the hell are the match directors thinking.

People go on about his pace. I think I must be blind as I haven't seen much at all. His acceleration from a standing start is not quick at all. If he's as quick as he reckons he is, why doesn't he knock the ball past the defender then sprint after it? There's been countless times when he could have done it and when he occasionally does he seems to get caught. He might be a sprinter on a track, but on a pitch he's most certainly not imho.

I've held off commenting for weeks in the hope he would come good but, unfortunately, in the context of the premier league he's completely ineffective. He's weak, can't hold the ball up, can't jump and win the ball in the air, can't shoot, can't dribble, can't pass and can't head the ball. Yes, there is the odd flash of something occasionally, but any professional football should be able to show the odd flash of something occasionally. There's just not enough to work with. Any offer at all in the summer and I'd be selling him. Well over 100 million spent and we still need a centre forward.

I really don't know how Gillett is still a prem referee, he is absolutely useless..
