Yeah I probably posted it, £0 of owner financing (loans and share capital). Money out goes on the loan repayments. Money in tops up that loan. Loan is repayable upon demand which is probably part of the £300m for the club

5 years ago he said this (Ashley) https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/mike-ashleys-message-newcastle-fans-7603937 He said on Monday: “All I say is, there is a bank account, when you have emptied it, it’s empty, don’t come crying to me for more money.....” He wouldn't put a penny in anyway, whether that's what all owners should do or not it's very few in reality who rely on self-sufficience

Luke said this in May. Notice the "bashing away" cliche (sort of)... and a suggestion he should walk. He'll "never walk away" though

The price definitely won't be £300m if we're relegated. Club value at least halves in the Champ and all sorts of chancers can pounce at that level if the club's more accessible

Adds up, Ryder's virtually the club PR man for transfers

Also on the Brooks stuff he's injured... maybe "injured"

Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce is set to land his second signing of the summer in the form of Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury. The 23 year-old will add some needed bite into the Newcastle midfield and will sign initially on loan although the move could become a permanent one next summer. A former England international, Newcastle were close to signing him back in January before an injury crisis forced Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers to put a block on it. Choudhury has been a long term target of the Newcastle manager and there is frustration it has taken so long to do. Interestingly, Bruce is also trying to persuade the club to sign at least one more player before the deadline with a centre back the most likely. Having been on the receiving end of abuse from Newcastle fans during the 2-2 draw against Southampton, Bruce mood has darkened over the weekend as he watched most clubs in the bottom half of the table, including Norwich, Watford, Crystal Palace and Leeds United all make a flurry signings is the rest of the Telegraph detail

Gone (but only from England!)

"It's all kicking off" is a stretch

Bruce has overachieved massively with Newcastle based on the underlying stats... but the drawback is despite that we haven't actually improved? We've managed to defeat most reasoned and logical predictions to be where we were before he came and that's seen as a gigantic success to the mainstream media. Just because we aren't finishing where stats suggest we should be (bottom 3) We've already had 2 years of ~45 points on top of the 2 years of the same record before that. 19/20 we should have been relegated. Dubravka miraculous that year. Last season it was Wilson and Willock. No sign whose individual talent saves him this year but there's enough in the team to survive probably. Only at Newcastle can the fact a glance at the table suggests stability wipes away any rightful criticism of the real regression we've witnessed - especially the defence which isn't a personnel problem imo

Didn't even realise it was deadline day tomorrow until a few hours ago, we checked out the minute we "broke all our rules" to pay for Willock with our remaining scraps

He really does speak in cliches doesn't he? Looking back on some of his older stuff, a "bashing away" before it became overused

He wasn't wearing his glasses!

Bruce (19/20 and 20/21) against Rafa (17/18 and 18/19). Got a Wayback link end of April 2019 for the Rafa comparison

Even at a glance stuff like that it's day and night the difference the last 2 years have had
