On struggling to create an atmosphere with the ‘tiny’ crowds they’re pulling in at St James’ Park: “In our stadium 30,000 doesn’t feel like a lot so there was no electricity.” 9. On struggling to do any business in the transfer market in the summer of 2012: “I think it is quiet – whether we’re all enthralled by what’s happening with the Olympics I don’t know.” 8. After being comprehensively knocked out of the FA Cup by League Two opposition in 2011: “There’s a few in there that need to understand what this game’s about….a few young boys got caught out tonight by the passion and the physical side of Stevenage.” 7. On not being able to compete with Man City: “They have a sovereign state backing them. We can’t compete with that. It is very difficult.” 6. Pardew’s excuse for Newcastle’s dreadful form in the second half of the 2013/14 season: “We were affected by the World Cup, there’s no doubt about that in my mind.” 5. On the psychological perils of passing the 40-point mark after Newcastle were spanked 4-0 by Southampton last season: “It’s difficult when you have 46 points on the board.” 4. On Newcastle fans being just too darned passionate for their own good: “It’s a city that loves the club so much that it hurts itself, because of that love. If there was perhaps less pressure on our results…it would probably be a better club. 3. After Newcastle put in a dismal shift and drew 1-1 against Rangers in a pre-season friendly: “The grass was a bit long for our liking.” 2. After Newcastle lost 2-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2012: “Today was a little bit unfair on us. We couldn’t move the game to Sunday because of the Notting Hill Carnival.” 1. After losing 3-0 at home to Sunderland in the most recent North East derby: “Maybe we were a bit too hyped up.” Or perhaps https://www.football365.com/news/alan-pardews-excuses-the-longlist, but it overlaps a fair bit
  2. Would rather our only dedicated holding midfielder (that I can think of) didn't leave without a direct replacement
  3. Think he hates Ryder https://www.nufc.co.uk/nufc-tv/latest-videos/bruce-pre-burnley-carabao-cup-media-briefing-21-22/ - 10:33 he's called to ask his questions, mess too the way he's phrasing them
  4. Dubravka 8 weeks so I presume Darlow
  5. Clearly were good enough if in the 2 seasons that came before him we conceded the 7th fewest goals in the league, and one of a select handful (I think Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and us) to never surpass 50 goals allowed. For all the talk that it's similar and nothing's changed on the surface, we very clearly can see the hampering our goal difference has taken us as a result of defensive mismanagement.
  6. They won 4-0 yesterday enjoy the wins as rare as they come
  7. On the bright side maybe Munoz is coming, the All Star manager in Mexico's said he's going to Europe
  8. Imgur, Gyazo etc links didn't use to work for me now it does. Really helpful for screenshots now - yeah just copy the image address and it'll embed
  9. I guess until the company files something, it's totally up in the air what its intended use is. Which makes speculating a little pointless as it could easily turn out to be something totally unlinked to us. Saying that I remember Cantervale Holdings being set up and there being interest around that, January 2018 just before Staveley bid 1 collapsed. That's the company that has a charge with the Reubens.
  10. Pre-Arsenal in 2020. We lost 4-0.
  11. "A corporation sole is an individual person who represents an official position which has a single separate legal entity. The death of the individual will not affect the corporation as there is a right of succession. The Crown, bishops, deans, vicars and the Lord Mayor of London are examples of a corporation sole." I remember PAUK doing the rounds on Twitter, if not here, the day it was incorporated. Around the time the McLaren talk of PIF investing in that surfaced. McLaren Group Ltd https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/10720174/persons-with-significant-control - "1 active person with significant control, The Government Of The Kingdom Of Bahrain..." its legal form also a corporation sole.
  12. Then we need to seriously move on Cajuste and Kamara like we're supposedly after
  13. From the horse's mouth, or rather the raccoon's
  14. Don't think he said the rain quote, an ITK posted it 7 mins after the final whistle. Didn't think you got quotes that soon after a game? The club interview nor the Sky one mention it so there's no video evidence
