Bruce’s face is brilliant!

His inability to separate experience from talent is laughable! “I’ve been around a long time. 500 games etc.” We know Steve, you’ve been stinking up the PL making everyone else look good for 500 games.

Hopefully that’s the case but even it is (on paper) him still running the show, the players are naturally going to gravitate towards Jones and listen to him because he’s the only one of the four who knows what he’s doing. Bruce will be forced into the background even if his title is still Manager.

The way Bruce will play it when pressed is that as a manager you listen to your coaches. Graeme had some ideas and I decided to try them out. That’s why I brought him here, because he’s a top coach and gives us something different. The media will lap it up and we’ll be back to where we were

The role Miggy was in today might suit him. Could see him as one of the strikers pulling into the wide areas he tends to prefer. Think Miggy's movement and ability to thread a ball will make that central role his. He was awesome there today. If Jones can identify Miggy’s best role after 2 days and get a performance like that from him, there’s every chance he can do similar for Joelinton. Be good to see what a confident well-coached big Joe looks like

Be interesting to see if the new manager can get a tune out of Joelinton. He might actually find a role and position that suits him. He’s the forgotten £40m man at the moment

No Steve Bruce team has ever played with that much structure and control. That was clearly an organised, orchestrated gameplan and a million miles from the mess we’ve witnessed for 18 months.

Looks like the number 2 in any ITV detective series Still don't get how this is going to help...this guy hasn't pulled up any trees anywhere he's been, and isn't exactly a 'yoing' up and coming star since he's 50 already, with his last involvement being taking Bournemouth down. Maybe he's brought in to teach players what relegation looks like Swansea played class football, Belgium are the No.1 ranked team in the world and Bournemouth played great football and took it to teams with budgets far larger than theirs for a few years in the PL. His credentials sound pretty good to me, especially when compared to our incumbent shower. He's only been at Bournemouth a few months. Fair enough, but the rest of his career is pretty impressive and there's one overwhelming factor in all of it - technical and tactical coaching and an attractive style of play.

He showed a couple of glimpses last night that suggest there's a decent player in there - a couple of sharp turns, some good runs and positions taken up. I didn't know anything about him before he joined so i've just thought we've bought a pup up to now, but he's clearly just been Bruced.....badly. Poor fucker!

Plenty of good coaches make shit managers. I'm not suggesting he is good, just that I wouldn't rule him out being good on the basis of a shit managerial reign.

It's absolutely incredible man. That is literally the job requirement to organise the team tactically and give them instructions on how to function in order to be an effective unit And we have these oafs continuously disregarding and denigrating tactics It’s just incompetence on a ridiculous level and he not even trying to hide it. He should be sacked for that comment alone. The quote in my post was from Carver... (but yeah) Difficult to tell them apart to be fair.
