  1. Tucking typical this like, I have a nice bottle of red(2015 chateauneuf du pape to be exact)and 6 cans in the fridge, that have been in there since the original story broke in April are waiting to be cracked open, and I feel like shit and think I’m coming down with a cold
  2. There is always one that has to try and spoil it, I doubt that Saudi would be seen to be making concessions if they were planning on walking away though “The Times understands that the kingdom’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which is providing 80 per cent of the money, will consider other options if the deal is held up indefinitely. While the PIF hierarchy still want the takeover to happen, and to have a presence in the Premier League as part of the country’s grand sporting ambitions, a source said that the PIF was prepared to walk away to consider alternative plans.”
  3. Nowhere near the amount of shit direct on the seats that I was expecting
  4. I despise the bloke, but it would be funny as fuck if he slapped in a bill to the PL for lost interest on the £300m because they have been dragging their feet
  5. Again that’s just an interpretation that’s what leaves this whole thing on a knife edge as everyone has different views on it. That's no interpretation, there is nothing in the report stating the government of KSA or PIF were directly involved in the transmission. No but the reporters who are saying it does are highlighting other points about them not shitting it down which shows they supported it and seem to believe that will be enough. You could say that about Amazon then also as you can install the Kodi/IPTV (and I presume BEoutQ) apps on the firestick so why have they not shut that down/stopped available downloads of these apps I honestly think the report gives the premier league enough room to decide either way and not suffer any backlash. Not sure I agree with that mind Same here, I think if they do turn it down it gets overturned on appeal, as there is nothing linking PIF with piracy. There is no doubt that it could and possibly should be turned down on moral grounds, but that ship sailed years ago with Russian, UAE, Chinese and Saudi ownership already in the premier league, so if they did take a stand now it would be ripped apart by the Saudi lawyers. Moral grounds are not part of the PL ODT. Exactly they are not as they choose to not put them in, so can’t turn us down. What I was trying to say on moral grounds the Saudis probably shouldn’t be able to buy a football club but that also goes for almost half of the other premier league clubs If they revamp the test after this takeover they may/could add such a rule, however morality is a minefield. I don’t think there is any doubt they will change the test after our takeover

  8. By the letter of what law? Does he say? All of the journalists will be saying this over the next few days “ it should have failed but there was just too much pressure on the PL to pass it”
  9. You reckon Henry Mauriss has that sort of cash like?, with Henry Mauriss we will most likely be in the EFL
  10. I think you will see it come out from the higher ups in Saudi on Twitter first
  11. Just think,if it’s true about the league cup next season with none of the top 7 taking part, if this takeover does go through we could be in prime position to actually win something in our first season with new owners.
  12. I was just thinking that, it’s been a very slow propaganda day today
  13. We can only hope, people will go mental if it isn’t though :frantic: :frantic:
  14. No its not. But I will tell you now Ashley is still in charge as the sale is not complete. Yes but as someone else just said, if he hasn’t spent money to drape stuff over the seats it’s an opportunity missed to advertise shit direct which to me is a good indicator
  15. Why would the signs be removed before the takeover? Who would be paying for that? Not the signs, but the stuff draped over the seats like city did, if there is not shit direct draped over the seats that’s as good a sign as any
  16. Just put in the other thread, that Sunday’s game will be the biggest indicator if the fat twat is really going/gone, if his shit direct tat is draped all over the seats then that might be an indication that he’s still here for a while, if there is no shit direct all over the seats that’s as good an Indicator as we’re going to get, as he never misses an opportunity to advertise his tat
  17. This will be the biggest indication if the parasite is really going/gone. s*** direct over the seats and he’s still here for a while, no s*** direct over the seats and that’s as good an Indicator as your going to get, because he never misses and opportunity to advertise his tat
  18. Do you think he’s heard it’s close and is now shitting himself that he might not get any FaceTime with the new directors of our club
  19. As someone pointed out earlier, if there was little the buyers could do if turned down, this would have been rejected months ago
  20. yes because of t***s such as luke edwards who comes across as being as thick as 2 short planks , basicly he,s stealing a living Your not wrong there, isn’t it ethically wrong to post other peoples stories and try to pass them off as your own
  21. Don’t know about you guys, but I get up on a morning full of optimism and confidence that the deals going to go through and today might be that day, and as the day goes on and the propaganda is broadcast, I get a sinking feeling more and more that it’s going to be knocked back.
  22. What I will say the amount of propaganda and reporting of one sided stories from the British press is a disgrace, considering everything they report should be balanced journalism according to the rules and regulations. It would be funny if Edward’s was banned from SJP for his propaganda spouting.
