I don't think FFP is a good idea at all, the point was to stop the likes of Ridsdale at Leeds spending money they didn't have and almost bankrupting the club. I think if you can prove you have the money to spend, you should be allowed to, UEFA/FIFA's job is to protect the sport for the benefit of the clubs and the fans. I can't see how preventing "NEW" money coming into the system does that.

I genuinely hope he does well, unfortunately I just don't think he's very good, he's more of a figure head, he seemed to have a good team around him at Rangers, so he needs more of that IMO.

I feel nostalgic for the days when transfers happened overnight, you'd wake up, look at the back page of a paper and see another teams player in a new shirt. Great stuff, transfers these days go through a 2 week VAR, which takes all the surprise and excitement out of them.
