Jesus would be interesting to say the least if we got both of these through the door!

I get your point but it's a very volatile situation that he doesn't have to get involved in. The ball us in his court, we're a shitshow currently due to FCB.

Think it might be politicking from Villa, hardballing from Emery and not wanting to be shoved in the dugout for Brighton with heaps of pressure and little prep time.

They have a hard-on for us now due to Saudis, they didn't like us before due to Ashley they like us even less so will revel in any negatively.

When are Alton Towers opening up the NUFC Ride? I believe it will be the biggest rollarcoster the the World. They'd make millions.

Think the Lampard talk is due to Jamie Ruben's Friendship with Lampard and Redknapp. I think it could be just paper talk of putting two and two together and getting 5. I think they are waiting until they sort the DOF first then look for a compatible manager. The new team seem to be more methodical and action planned than the old rabble of shite.

I agree football is fucked but why did it take the Newcastle takeover for people to start coming to this conclusion? Surely than city and Chelsea takeovers should have been a wake up call but it wasn't.

Tried to watched that but stopped after 4 minutes, he's falling into the trap of making moral judgements about how fans should feel and saying that we have cognitive dissonance. You can't cherry pick morality, it's the same thing with the Jack Pitt-Brooke. He's saying that its not a valid argument to counter his arguments by saying that PIF invest in Starbucks, Disney etc...and that it becomes toxic but that's the point. You're saying you can't help it if PIF invest in these companies, we can't chose who buys the club. I would like to know what they would like us to do? Stop supporting Newcastle because you don't like the new owners?

Good way of putting it, at the end of the day it's Pearl clutching journos and middle class champagne socialists who want to beat us with their sense of superiority. If we hasn't taken it someone else would have and I would rather it be us than someone else.

Who didn't know Saudi Arabia was a very different country to ours? They have a different set of moral values formed from a very different religion to that of ours and the western world. I'm not making moral judgements on the Suadis based on our own ethical standards as its comparing apples to oranges. Yes I would not like to live there and do hope that they start to become more Liberal in some of their values but at the end of the day it is their country and if they want to do what they see fit I can't beat them with a stick because their moral frame work is alien to ours. Everyone is very quiet on China, a country which is more modern in some ways but very much in the same league as the Saudis in other ways. I didn't hear an up roar when they got involved and to argue it was a private company is a flase one as no company can do anything beyond the approval of the CCP.

"Meanwhile, current managing director Lee Charnley could yet stay on for slightly longer than the brief handover initially anticipated after meeting with the new owners on Friday. He has an in-depth knowledge of the club and its workings and, while seen by supporters as Mike Ashley’s man, is nonetheless valued as a good operator." NUFC 360 stretching it a bit in regards to the tweet above, this is the direct quote from the daily mail article.
