We lose that game and have a man sent off without VAR. However to give a pen when the ball is blasted off a defender's arms is ridiculous. They still miss stuff too, was at the game I didn't notice or remember the pen incident but it always seems like when it's a close call against the 'Big Teams' they give it in favour of them, then review it, so without the crutch of VAR maybe it would have been different. However I doubt it. Overall I think it's been a bad implementation of something that can make it slightly more even.

Atmosphere was absolutely immense. My ears are still ringing and I'm already getting hoarse. We have a gilt-edged oppertunity here to really challenge at the top end of the table, I really hope that the club capitalise on this. But I know for sure we are in safe hands. Think Maddison would be a great signing, finally something to wet the rumor mill apitite. He would also give us more threat from outside the box with his ball striking ability, which has been woeful for a while. Only Schar can twat the ball with conviction from outside the box.

We need more quality going forward. Alot more IMO. Wilson is brilliant but has a very poor track record of injury, Wood has been under performing in front of goal but did contribute a lot in terms of pressing, however he's back up at best. Miggy, Fraser and ASM have all very poor end product. And out of the three I can only envision ASM improving on his stats however he needs to have an outstanding season next season otherwise he might be replaced. Murphy isn't good enough and the rest will be shipped out. We really need to get in at least 2 attacking players and I'd be concerned if the club don't see that too. We have enough defensively to be competitive but we were really impotent last season going forward and we still haven't addressed that yet. But I think they will but looks like we will have to be patient.

Think Targett has been great this season but I can see from this game why we are not getting the cheque book out yet. Lacks pace but he does read the game very well.
