If it's random shouldn't really matter as long as you're in before they actually go on sale

From what I can see they are uncontrollably jealous of us, not the other way round. Surely got to be up there with the most 'what the fuck' post ever

Fair play he's got the move he wanted. Seems like we might have wasted months on someone who just wasn't interested in coming. Obviously I don't know what the conversations were, but his agents comments in January after the deadline day deal broke down, possibly should have seen us walk. At least it's clear now for the rest of the window.

We do need good players in each position to go to the next level. Thing is though people are listening too much to bullshit clickbait reporters reporting about a 'limited budget' and taking it as a given. It's obvious that the owners are going to portray this for reporting purposes, to be able to play their best hand possible. It was the same in January when the reporters were reporting a 'limited budget', yet we would have spent over 120 million if Etitke had signed. We have got more than enough scope within FFP and a number of forthcoming sponsorship deals will be coming in. They are damned right to insist on any deal will be on their terms, but I have no doubt that players availability will become easier as the window develops (as it always does during the Summer window).

That's why we need 3 players, a quality CM to allow our midfield to take control of games, supply the wings, whilst also getting a fair amount of assists and goals. A quality right winger, because the players we have there are just not good enough. And finally a centre forward of a decent level of quality (either young or established), as unfortunately you cannot rely on Wilson to be fit for even much more than half the season, never mind the majority of it. I'm pretty confident we will get players for all 3 positions. Time will tell though if we actually do.

I disagree with you, but you're right time to move on and just see what happens with the rest of the window.

He has to have the ball in the first place to make more goals. Both positions are priorities and both are key to us taking the next step up.
-
He's one of the 'group' that spouts this at the start of every season. He must have been wanking himself daily, December time just gone.
-
We are lacking control of the ball, chances created and goals from BOTH positions. That new right winger we need, then needs service to him, to be able to create those chances. He's going to get a lot more oportunity if we have a midfield which can control the ball and provide this service, something the current midfield does not provide enough - just look at the stats.
-
I couldn't agree more with everything you have said.
-
Continue with Willock, Longstaff and Shelvey in my opinion is madness also if you want to progress. Willock is the best of the three in the current set up. but he just has far too many poor games. As I said before we need both positions now, and there is no reason why not, as we have plenty of wiggle room with FFP, assisted by forthcoming increased sponsorship levels.
-
Hey, I know it's about opinions, but I honestly can't see why others can't see this.
-
Point I'm making is that both to me are main positions to improve this window, if we really want to make significant strides forward. I'm however, pretty confident we will see both positions (and a stiker) improved before the window closes.
-
The current midfield do not control the game enough, they don't create enough chances and they don't score enough goals. That midfield we have, will continue in the same vain. Even if we get Diaby, the wingers still have to have consistent service (especially from midfield) to have an impact.

I don't post or look in the Bruce thread now he's gone (I maybe only glance at the Benitez thread also from time to time). As I was saying if you don't like something, not interested or it irritates you, then don't bother with it. They are still our rivals even though the fortunes of both clubs are miles apart now.
-
My hate for them comes from the 70s and 80s and yes I live in the North East (I presume you don't otherwise why mention it). If you're so bothered about what people think of Sunderland, then I would give this thread a miss in the future.

Probably both, honestly toss up who is the worst between him and Wraith, pisses me off that outside parties and the media see these two fuckers as the 'face' of Newcastle fans

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

I think that's the age group he is targeting (nothing sinister - I don't think so anyway), which actually is probably fair enough as non of the other youtube/pod casts do. I certainly wouldn't/couldn't listen to him mind, but as I said if the younger age group do, then fair enough. -
I just think it's funny as fuck watching their faux outrage building and building as each week passes.
-
Funny as fuck seeing most of them not wanting Armstrong because he is a 'mag'. He would be absolutely perfect for them in the Championship. I suppose, at least they can boo him, if he gets a loan move to another club and scores. Great to see them spending most of their money resigning players from last year also.
-
So if that's the case why don't they go in for him anyway? Shouldn't be the case that we are only prepared to buy if another team makes an offer.
-
They have trouble getting any investment never mind PIF. There's a reason Donald is still stinking the place out and the French kid had to increase his shares. They were wanking themselves silly a couple of weeks ago with ITK shite that 'big investors' were coming on board. At least it has raised the faux outrage up a notch from its already very high level.
-
Looks like they have taken the option off now as just tried with the new training kit to see if it was still available and it wasn't.

I disagree I maintain a CM is just as important as a RW. I am pretty sure though both will be brought in this window.
