  1. Just have to wait and see, the overall decision maker is supposedly arriving tomorrow, so we may see movement on a few things next week. Seems to me that this turnaround from the Premier League has caught them on the hop big time. Personally think it's a big mistake keeping Bruce. Interesting that the press session has been put back to the afternoon, which suggests to me he is going to be well primed on what/what not to say. I honestly hate the cunt more than any manager in all the years I have been supporting, surpassing Pardew and Souness.
  2. That's just Newcastle though, then you have all the surrounding areas. Man Utd could easily get 100,000 + if Old Trafford had that capacity
  3. Let’s see on Sunday what happens if he is still here then. Hopefully he isn’t.
  4. Hopefully we won’t find out. As for your question why?, just see this thread, other forums and social media, it’s not hard to work out why.
  5. Of course they will be booing Bruce and have anti Bruce songs.
  6. Big thing with me is that having Bruce there creates a whole different atmosphere on Sunday. Instead of having the whole crowd behind the team, it’s going to be a case of anti Bruce chants throughout. He needs to go now, Jones in for Sunday and hopefully a new man in next week.
  7. Pictures and video I’ve seen he’s still on the sidelines
  8. It's not what people want it's what the consortium will require. The revenue for a 70,000 - 80,000 stadium is big compared to 52,000. It's the reason other clubs have extended or planning to extend. Unfortunately there is very little that can be done at St James'
  9. He's the midlands reporter for the paper, so may have had a tip off.
  10. May well have been I just read the headlines to be honest as it was in my 'sick as fuck' stage.
  11. They would have been looking at other clubs in oher leagues during the period of the deal being uncertain, as if we had been officially blocked, then there was no option for another Premier League club.
  12. The reporter who wrote the article is backtracking already https://sempreinter.com/2021/10/13/italian-journalist-federico-strumolo-sale-of-inter-to-pif-not-a-certainty-i-only-wrote-what-they-told-me/
  13. If this takes off like we're hoping, then a new plot of land will have to be found and a new stadium built, as a direct result of the limitations concerning St James', which will impact on future revenue for the club. We have seen other traditional clubs do this (Arsenal) and remember it was John Hall's first choice of option also. I have been encouraged that the consortium were talking to Newcastle Council at an early stage.
  14. Love it, and the fact that they know that they're shittng themsevles that the revenue will go shooting up also. Fucking bricking it, and I liked also, that the other clubs are finding the fuming of the so called top clubs amusing
  15. The bloke is an absolute cunt. Hopefully the Trust members will see through this and make their voices heard. An absolute abortion from the Trust elected members this move.
  16. ...... and getting rid of Bruce
  17. Not confused at all, just don't agree, but I'll leave it at that.
  18. Agree with the second part, but the fact is that it doesn't matter if the goals are different, it's the same money being used by the same fund.
  19. If he is in that dugout on Sunday that is a totally stupid decision.
  20. It’s essential that the manager is exactly the right fit not only to ensure we’re still in the premier league, but also in a position to push on. Appoint the wrong person and there is a chance we will be relegated, resulting in the overall project being put on hold for a year and maybe even longer. Hopefully money talks and we can push through the deal to convince the right person to sign up. Bruce has to be gone before Sunday, I can live with Jones being at the helm for a week or two, but keeping that fraud on will result in an atmosphere which will be totally against Bruce, instead of a celebration of new feeling of hope and a crowd totally behind the team from the start.
  21. Still think the Barrly Manilow Mandy song is the best one, again just need to adapt the lyrics
  22. Need a centre half with pace also
