  1. Same things are springing up all season, questions have got to start being asked
  2. Does anyone know when the tribunals response is due, has it been mentioned by anyone?
  3. And the other clubs at the top are either level or just behind them. I said last month that the games they had were all against the teams placed in the bottom half of the table. They won't go up automatically and I doubt they will be in a play off position either. They will stink the lower leagues out for a few more years yet.
  4. Yeah Ferry definitely a fan as are his sons which he has mentioned before in a interview
  5. Different league (literally) level wise. If somehow we did go up, basically would need not far off a new team. We have a few players out defensively though, but the gap level is big.
  6. I don't really like either music wise, it's just great to see how wound up they are about Fender
  7. That Roker Mackem and Sofatester are the two of the biggest faux outrage cunts (except for Exile who has disappeared from the scene) and comment continuously about us. The fuckers as a whole lie about everything and make up scenarios to try and justify themselves. Just look at the Sam Fender thread to see it in full glory.
  8. Yeah the Premier League will go back stating that they have changed the rules and City will argue that the rules are still unlawful. It's the reason why the premier league didn't wait for the tribunal clarification
  9. It's an arbitration tribunal set up by the Premier League within their rules. With one nomination from the Premier League, one for City and a joint agreement by both for the 3rd (otherwise appointed by the FA if no agreement). We are still waiting for the tribunal's written explanation, to confirm if the rules in their entirety are unlawful. The rules voted for today could be quickly thrown out if that explanation states unlawful, otherwise they will remain if the tribunal decides it is lawful (unlikely in my opinion, but then again I though the vote would have been pulled yesterday). I honestly think this has been rushed through to attempt to stop open season when/if the tribunal decision comes through in agreement with City's argument. This gives the Premier League time to further kick the can down the road (as we know they love to do). I agree that it is corrupt and totally unacceptable how another club (or 16 in this case) can basically stop an individual club from running and investing in its own business. People say, but it's a football club and needs to be governed. This is correct in terms of the rules of the game and what happens on the pitch, but football clubs (like it or not) are first and foremost businesses and shouldn't have their investment curtailed by another club (business). I wish either us or City (or the actual sponsor) would say no I'm not accepting your corrupt process and take it to the competition/external courts as the whole thing would be blown apart. Premier League may attempt to throw the clubs out, but I'm quite sure the government would get seriously involved then (as they threatened during the Super League). Hopefully we will get the tribunal explanation promptly and see what happens with that. The PSR and APT rules are both totally anti competitive and would not be allowed in any other industry.
  10. Stupid thing is that the airport limits are at Woolsington, so which are also within the city limits. Not like the mackems to get their facts wrong
  11. Because they have to fly from Newcastle to get to Spain . As for Sam Fender, if he was a mackem, then he would be the greatest talent in music today. We have had these two topics and the Premier League vote today (showing up their faux outrage as usual) and yet not a whisper on the new stadium talk, I wonder if that is because it kills their pie in the sky hopes of PIF leaving. Let's see in a few weeks when they are struggling for a play off place
  12. The new stadium is happening and people against need to get on board with that. The arguments about moving stadium doesn't guarantee you winning things is frankly pathetic. The reason we will be moving is to increase revenue streams, which will be double that of staying at SJP as quoted the other night. We will also give the opportunity for more supporters to attend and that is also important. We also have then the cost of extending SJM is huge for the limited number of seats it would give us and also result in lost revenue during the period that the extension takes place. Absolute no brainer all round
  13. This was according to reports, whether those reports were correct is another thing
  14. Obviously the clubs who were supposed to be in favour of voting have had their minds changed (Leicester, Chelsea and Everton). Man City will be straight in the courts again and we await the tribunal clarification. If the tribunal clarify the rules are unlawful (likely), then the Premier League are in a difficult position. Let's see what Man City say as they usually release a statement.
  15. You're not taking into account other events which can be held at a new stadium. Unable to do this currently with the size of the entrance /exits into the stadium. The executives said yesterday that the revenue would be double that of SJP. Extending the current stadium would be at a huge cost with very little opportunity for revenue growth. A new stadium is just a no brainer all round.
  16. They are trying to head off the tribunal ruling as they know it will be open season if the current rules are deemed unlawful. If it is passed tomorrow (I still think it will be pulled tomorrow like last time), and the tribunal do state the rules were unlawful, then Man City will be straight in appeal again and I think this time will be joined by the other clubs against.
  17. It will be what the owners want, the fan involvement is just a tick mark exercise.
  18. On top of that revenue loss (every penny is important for PSR), you will have a massive cost for a limited number of additional seats, which is just not financially feasible imo. Doesn't matter anyway, it seems pretty obvious that a decision has been made and that it is now being drip fed to the support
  19. Nothing to stop us though or city as there would be no lawful rule in place
  20. Not if the 7 reported clubs against vote to reject. There may be other clubs also
  21. If the Tribunal state that the current law is unlawful (they have been requested to confirm) and the vote fails (likely), then it's open season as their will be no rules to stop clubs making sponsorship deals Everton also
  22. A new stadium will get the majority vote now in any case. It's an absolute no brainer in every way. The decision has already been made anyway, they are just cleverly slowly rolling it out. Even Howe when he was last asked about the stadium had changed tune.
  23. Where was this is it something you have been to? Just come on, if I've missed something
  24. I watched the game and in my opinion he was one of Brazil's best players. He got turned for the goal outside of the box, but he never give the ball away, passing rate was excellent and he played 4 sublime through balls during the match. The Brazil fans need to look further up field as to who is to blame as Brazil dominated the match
  25. We will see on Friday, all you need is 7 clubs to say no and they won't be passed. According to reports a few weeks ago, more clubs were coming on board with regards to APT. If the tribunal state that the current rules are unlawful and the Premier League can't get their desperate attempt to pass new rules, then it's open season until new rules are passed. Man City have played a blinder here.
