Chelsea build-up is so awfully slow. Major reason Lukaku has flopped. He needs a direct team.
Not really a surprise when 8/11 players they play each week are defensive.

Who else is there to run it if there is no one else left? Next elections/candidates should be interesting.
Why not just say he can’t do it and sort out elections six months ago, rather than misleading and/or ignoring fans?

He was about to step down but Alex Hurst beat him to it. Then Heron and one other left overnight so he delayed announcing his intention to stand down. Alex Hurst then returned to help Greg iirc. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is Greg’s last term.
Which pretty much confirms what everyone knows that it’s being run by Alex with Greg as the puppet at the front.

Sky: Nothing wrong there. Should be a penalty to Everton. -
Everton absolutely desperate to stop a football game from breaking out.

How is Mina getting away with all of this? Incredible.

Imagine not even being the favourite, biggest or most recognised club in the third division playoffs after finishing behind a club who nearly went bust last season and still won the league.
Fighting in the third division playoffs with a team that isn’t even old enough to buy a pint yet.

Sheff Wed are absolutely flying at the moment, couldn’t be a worse team to come up against.
Ha.

Horrible making us play this game.

We came up against their reserve team. We played them as if they were the best team in Europe though, I do agree with that.
They rested three players man.
Two of which have been criticised constantly since January. Hardly played against their U23s.

Leeds are slowly going about fucking their season up
How? Before yesterday they had won 3 and drew 2 of their last 5.

The mobility of a rocking horse and the first touch of an elephant. Wish we’d have signed someone proper with that £25m that we could potentially grow with, but it is what it is.
Won’t get all signings right and overall they’ve been great.

Leeds and Burnley will both get at least 5 more points. I just don’t see Everton getting 10+ from 6 games.
-
Thought the team selection and tactics were spot on, we just didn’t really turn up.
Had plenty of chances to break away but the execution wasn’t there.
No shame in that, we’ve been brilliant recently and came up against the most in-form team in Europe.

Thought he’s getting there, seemed better yesterday (and has done in recent weeks) at releasing the ball and passing.

He met a girl. Got engaged not that long ago. Currently on holiday abroad as job has been a bit manic. Give up his season ticket so doesn’t get up to the North East much these days. Would imagine next on his list is buying a place together and planning the wedding.
If he’s too busy to reply to members, what is he doing as Chair?

Everton’s games against Watford, Brentford, and Palace, are like our games against Boro, Fulham, and Portsmouth towards the end of the 09 season. Those three games will determine if they will survive.
They’ll lose to Watford and it’ll be curtains, imo.
People talk about Leeds having this dreadful run but all of their last four are winnable.

Everton probably need 3 wins minimum from six now to have any chance.
Love it when you talk dirty to me like that.

It’s going to happen, isn’t it?

Perfect team by Eddie today.

To think that our former manager who was quite a decent centre-back himself, froze him out and Lejune, easily our two best centre-backs…
Just further evidence of how stuck in the past he is. Defenders shouldn’t pass a ball, they’re just there to head it and kick people.

Thought the ref was great tonight. Got everything right and to not have to deal with VAR all night was also a delight.

Play-offs at best. It's a lottery and it seems they're using up a lot of luck to get here.
Have scored 8 goals in their last 9 games after 80+ minutes to get an extra 13 points. Incredible really.
Not sustainable though. That luck will run out eventually.
Wouldn’t fancy them to beat any of the teams in the playoffs. Sheff Wed seem to decent form so would be nice for them to get them.

Great game this.
It’d be class if there was some league or something where we could watch them play each other all the time.

I answered your question by pointing out there would be people available to take it on, if they bought forward an election in order to find someone.
It’s a bit like me complaining nobody is buying my house without putting it on the market.
If he can’t do it - why isn’t he relinquishing control to someone who can?
I’d like him to answer the question he said he would on here six months ago, I’d like to know what is happening with the 200k raised and just seemingly left, I’ve got various other questions and ideas for NUST but they’re only ever ignored.
